About
PolyDice is the dice roller that knows what game you're playing.
Unlike generic dice apps, PolyDice renders every die exactly as it looks on the table — geometric shapes with authentic game symbols, not generic dots. Whether you're investigating eldritch mysteries in Mansions of Madness, delving into dungeons in HeroQuest, or rolling a stealth check on a d20, every die looks the part.
FEATURES
• Geometric dice — d4 through d20 rendered as their real face shapes (triangles, squares, diamonds, hexagons, decagons)
• Authentic game symbols — Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition and HeroQuest 1989 dice use actual icon assets, not approximations
• Four game modes:
– Generic: standard RPG dice (d3, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20) with numeric results
– Mansions of Madness: red d8 dice with Elder Sign / Magnifying Glass / Blank faces and symbol counts
– HeroQuest: gold d6 combat dice with Skull / Hero Shield / Monster Shield faces and symbol counts
– Mixed Tray: combine dice from different game presets in one roll, with per-preset result breakdown
• Multi-remove mode — long-press any die to enter remove mode. All dice show an X button with a subtle wobble. Tap individual X buttons to remove multiple dice at once, tap outside to exit
• Selective Reroll — after rolling, tap any dice to highlight them, then reroll only the selected ones. Gold border marks your picks, unselected dice stay put
• Step Roll — roll dice one at a time instead of all at once. Perfect for tense skill checks, attack sequences, or any moment where each die matters
• Dice sounds — realistic multi-dice and single-die roll audio with randomized pitch variants. Toggle on/off from settings
• Up to 9 dice with animated roll (shake, rotation, glow)
• Dark minimalist UI — no distractions, just your results
PolyDice requires iOS 17 or later.
