I love it but..
I would love to see a Kurdish to English or English to Kurdish translation on Polyspeak, so I could communicate with my Kurdish friend in text message. I have tried many different Translators and a few of my friends who speak other languages have said this is the most accurate one out of them all. Correct grammar as well. I will alwayd use this one I just wish there was a Kurdish Language to choose from

Love this App
I’m surprised this app is not rated higher. This app has enhanced my life and made me write like a native speaker. Communicating writing with a foreign friend is so much more fun and fluid. Great way to improve your language skills while communicating with other native speakers.
The Best application I have on my phone.
I cannot understand why anyone would rate this application as less than five stars. It is the only tool I need for language translation. I use it frequently throughout the day. I find it helpful and easy to use. I also use it as a learning tool to help me understand a foreign language.It is more than worth the $.99 that I paid for the application. This tool is a keeper and will always be on my phone. Thanks for the product you have created.

Best in its class.
Como alguien que ha pasado por muchas aplicaciones de traducción, esta es la mejor que he encontrado. Es simple de usar. Sin limitaciones de palabras. Y muy exacto. Realmente amo esta aplicación y la usaré a menudo. Lo estoy usando ahora para que pueda ver cómo funciona. (As one Who has went through a lot of translation apps this one is the best I have found. It is simple to use. No word limitations. And very accurate. I really love this app and will use it often. I am using it now so you can see how it works.)

Very difficult to use
And the screen pops up on my phone when I don’t want to do also. Impossible to get Portuguese.

I'm sorry you're having difficulty using it. Why aren't you able to get Portuguese? If you tap on the language, a language picker will come up and you can scroll to select the language of your choice.

Not very user friendly.
Just signed up and can't figure out the app and how to use it.
It only works as text message and you need to have internet access.
It's not worth it.

HI Aaltindis. The app needs Internet Access to be able to translate the provided text. And actually, the app is able to work anywhere you can type text, not just in text messages (for e.g. even when entering a new Title for a Calendar event, or when searching something in Safari). So excited to use this app more!! I love it just had a chart with my friend in Spain and sent my wife "I live you" in Japanese. This is the best!! Way better than copy and paste from Google translate.

Why full access to keyboard? Risk
My phone correctly warned me that giving full access to my keyboard, creates a serious security risk. As anything entered into the keyboard can be transmitted to developer! Not something I'm prepared to do!

Hello Porpois. As described in the FAQ section of the app, PolySpeak needs Internet Access to translate the text. The translation functionality is not shipped within the app. But the app calls a backend to do the translation. Hence it needs Internet Access. Apple's security warning is correct, however, as you can read in our Privacy Policy, we don't store the text you translate. We simply translate it, and show that to you.

Love love love this app
By far the best translation keyboard out there. And the best part is it's free! Delete those $9.99 keyboards and use this one. You won't be disappointed. Once in a while the app goes down, but I'm quite pleased with the creator's efforts at fixing it and bringing it back up. Good job! There's only a few apps I use daily, and this happens to be one of them 😬

1/26/17- Noooooooooo!!!!! What happened!!! Something updated and the ap no longer works! It says cannot connect to internet and I have several times the installed and gone through the steps to activate it properly and it's not working. This is so sad. Please fix it!
Suggestion: Read my original review. It still stands and I still love the software and it's the best from what I've seen out there. That said, I have a couple suggestions.
There is always going to be a little bit of difficulty with any translating software. I would love the option to press a button or have in the settings the ability to send my original text in English as well (so sending both the original and the translation).
Another suggestion is for PolySpeak to automatically return to the original iPhone keyboard automatically after it translates. It would make my conversation quicker and with less buttons.

Hands-down, this is by far the best translation answer to the iPhone. I absolutely love that you can speak into the iPhone, literally press two buttons and it translates. My Spanish is not so great and neither is my girlfriends English. And… I can't believe that this is free! I am dumping my translator kb ap in the next five minutes. My girlfriend already tells me that the translation is way better. Enjoy!

Remarkably slick and well designed keyboard. Provides very accurate translation across a large number of languages. Highly recommend.

I can finally understand what my friend who speaks German is trying to say! I don't have to close out of my messaging app and open a translator either! Great app and very creative.
Awesome app
Poly speak is awesome; it translates super fast and accurate and it's easy to use. The directions make everything so clear. It's a great app that makes communication so much easier; I would highly recommend it if you need to talk to someone who speaks a different language.
