User reviews

This app needs more work

Not to be completely negative but the app needs more work.
-Manufacturers aren’t alphabetized
-There needs to be a filament type field (ie. silk, rapid, matte, etc)
-Name field is unnecessary, if all the information is in the various drop downs then the name is unneeded. I just put a single blank space to make it accept a new filament.
-The color matching is great, it recognizes color hex codes which is cool, but how am I supposed to enter multicolor filaments?
-I added materials to the material list but it won’t accept the material when I select if for a new filament.
-How exactly is the in stock, out of stock supposed to work? It’s already saying filaments are in stock when I know for a fact they are currently out of stock.
-If I add suppliers to the suppliers list and then attempt to edit a filament and add said supplier the supplier list is blank. I’m forced to delete the filament and add it again to add a supplier.

Good app

Good app to keep stock of inventory on the fly. Im not always at my PC so being able to add and subtract is awesome.

Its up to the dev to do what he wants with his app. Just a couple suggestions.

First, it would be cool to be able to have different shades of colors under the main color tab. i.e. different shades of green under the main color green, like lime green, or olive green, translucent green, glow in the dark green instead of all the same shade of green.

Second, would be nice to have some sort of history log. Being a person of ADHD I’ve sometimes caught myself not remembering if Ive subtracted after printing something. Maybe have it so it has to stay at that certain number for like 5 minutes before it logs it. Anyways. Cheers. Thank you

Response from developer

Hi there, love your suggestions, thank you so much. Will add that to next release that makes sense.

Has Potential - Updated

This app has potential, but the fact that there is not a way to type in numbers just ruins the whole app. I wanted something simple without any frills to keep track of my filament and this app fit the bill. But if I want to put in an exact weight of my filament left I have to change the step count to 1 and press the arrows up or down how ever many times to get to the right number. Just give it a keyboard so I can type the numbers and this app would have the potential to be perfect. - The developer has since updated the app so I wanted to update my review. Since adding the ability to adjust the filament amount by using the number pad this app got way better. I now changed my increment to 1000 and just tap that whenever I buy a new spool, which makes it super simple. After a print is completed I just subtract it from my spool using the number pad. The only thing that does not work is the barcode scanner which could be useful but does not bother me, so I am updating to 5 stars!

Hi there ! Thank you for your feedback :). A new version is coming this week with some UX improvements, this one on top of the list (having the same trouble for my personal use).

Great filament tracker

The app is great. Would be even better if there was an option to add opened date and last drying date. Or make the comments section visible. Thanks!
