Very retro

Likes:
Unique filters and LFO‘s make for interesting sounds. Really cool micro-tuning per note.

Nitpicks:
Print is very small. Would be nice if LFO’s went both a bit slower and faster. ADSR sliders seem to have somewhat limited range, too. No pulse width mod. Only three-note polyphonic.

Very retro; like it or not. Sometimes some limitations can inspire more creativity. This synth is definitely staying in my collection.

Great synth but....

This a great synth. Great sound great look. Great functionality.....but on my new iPad Pro it only worked for awhile then the audio shuts off and remains off until either an iPad re-set or over time the main opening widow comes the the audio starts again for a little while. You guys need to up date for the new iPad Pro? And please get rid of the black border space around the app. The new iPad lets the image size of the synth to be larger. SO I give it 5 stars in hopes you will fix this audio bug?

Awesome Job

Great work. Love the sound n all the features.

Would be a nice added feature to put the latch functionality in for the Arp.

Thank you!

1/13/2018 - Thank you Paul!!

GENUINE

Opened it in standalone and was confused: is my audio interface acting up? Why am I only getting sound from the left channel? Closed it and loaded it into AUM, that fixed it. (“Oh, so it’s like a vintage synth that only has a mono output and needs to go into a mixer. Gotcha.”)

Output is kinda low and I can’t find a proper volume knob, only one labeled “Drive” and turning it up all the way was still low. (“good thing Amazing Noises has made their Limiter plug-in AUv3... There. That’s better.”)

Arpeggiator... no ability to sync to Host tempo? or MIDI clock input? No Ableton Link? (“Nope! Just like a vintage synth!”)

No latch? (“Quit complaining. AUM has a hold button!”)

Only 11 presets? (“Remember the Juno 6? OK, shhhh!”)

Suddenly it hit me. This is GENUINELY modeled on analog synthesizers. Not a clone of anything specific, but it’s own beast. This thing can make some sounds that those preset box synths won’t. If you want stock sounds, reach into your preset box synth. If you want to explore sculpting your own experimental sounds, and all in one window, well... this is a beautiful-looking window to do that in.

The kicker: $4.99 is less than the price of a 6ft 1/4” cable you’d need in order to plug in a vintage synth.
