About

Pomki turns early maths into something a child can pick up with their fingers. A market stall. A two-pan scale. Fruit that gets heavier as it gets bigger. Your child drags apples, pears, melons and pumpkins onto the pans until both sides balance. Nothing is written down. No numbers appear anywhere in the game. Then the sacks arrive — closed bags with a question mark on them. Every sack of the same colour holds exactly the same thing, so filling one fills them all. That single rule is algebra's first principle, and the game enforces it instead of explaining it. By the last levels your child is solving 2x + 1 = 7 and 3x + 2 = x + 14 without ever meeting the letter x. THREE WORLDS, ONE MECHANIC • Which is heavier — comparison, one-to-one matching (ages 4-5) • Make it equal — addition, equivalence, breaking numbers apart (ages 6-7) • What is in the sack — the unknown, equations, cancelling both sides (ages 8-10) WHY IT WORKS • Nothing to read. No typing, no number pad, no instructions. • No losing. A wrong piece just tips the scale; take it back and try again. • No timer. A child who wants to think for five minutes may think for five minutes. • Often more than one right answer — three apples or one melon, both are three. MADE CAREFULLY Every one of the 120 levels is designed by hand, then checked by a solver that proves four things: the level can be solved, the sack has exactly one possible value, the three-star target really is the fewest moves possible, and no two levels are the same puzzle. Difficulty is measured, not guessed. OUR PROMISES • No advertising. Ever. • No data collected — no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no network code. • No permissions requested. No camera, microphone, location or notifications. • Works completely offline. • One single purchase, behind a parental gate. No subscription. The first 20 levels are free — that is the whole first world, a complete experience on its own. One optional purchase unlocks the remaining 100 forever. Pomki is for children aged 4 to 10, and for the parent who would rather their child met algebra as a puzzle than as a page of homework.
