Waste of Time
Waste of time. I needed a quick timer and this is not it! Made me fill out the onboard info twice and still could not use the app. Deleted and moved on to a different one.

Don’t click the free trial option!!
Gave me an option for a 7 day free trial, when I signed up for the trial it charged me immediately and now I can’t get a refund!

Actually like it a lot
I been very productive since I’ve started my trial. Two things holding me back from the investment of $25, I don’t see it reasonable to pay $25 /year. Maybe a one time purchase fee of $25 yes many of us would consider it because it seems very good app, however, there is just so much competition for promodoro timers, many of which free I can’t find it sufficient reasons to pay $25 every year. Even goodnotes that I use every single day was cheaper than this and it was a one time payment.
Also the fact it’s a stand still image I thought it would be like the quiz preview that shows the breeze moving and it actually is very nice accompanied by the sounds. But for a stand still image with a clock I can just put apple timer or YouTube video with a dynamic background and sound.

Forcing to 7 day trial
after asking too many questions to "tailor" the app fir my needs it forced me into a 7 day trial. I uninstalled it instantly when i saw that. :(

Simple timer with background music to help focus.

They waste a lot of your time having you take an on-boarding quiz or few and then choose the background sounds you like.
Then there is no option of a free trial beyond a week, and that is only if you search around the app to find alternative subscription options. How do you know how life-changing this might be if you only have a week to try it out?
This is purposefully to get you invested so that you take their free trial and then get billed after seven days.
Try the Be Focused or Focus Keeper app instead. They may seem more basic but they don’t distract you with fancy background sounds and wallpaper or pushy trials.
You should focus on what is important to you, not an app which REALLY wants your money. It’s just another distraction.
Developer, please respond by improving the app and user on-boarding experience. Any canned response or deflection is just proof of what I’ve written.

Review As a High School Student
This totally romanticizes studying for me. I kinda wish the “yay i finished an assignment” sound was more motivating ,like khan academy, but love the Pomodoro technique and the aesthetics of this app. As a student, I totally believe this is worth the money.

What’s with the endless quiz that you can’t skip?? I downloaded it for a pomodoro timer not a questionnaire
Simple but glitchy
It’s quite good, but the alarm and a few things seem glitchy. Especially if you pause or do anything like that. Would be good to be able to start a fresh cycle of focus/breaks, say when starting a new task. I think I prefer this to some of the ones with more bells and whistles. Not sure that I will buy for another year though

Absolutely not willing to pay upfront without even being able to use a free basic version to test this out. Especially at the price they are asking.

Overpriced for what it is
Not intuitive, user experience is not great, and very limited number of background. Overpriced - there are better free pomodoro timer apps with background music out there 😬
Developer response untrue
Downloaded this based on the response from the developer to another review. It stated they made features available to try prior to paying for subscription which isn’t true. Can’t justify paying $25 minimum for something I don’t even know if I like.

Looked beautiful and promising, but once in the app there were no way of accessing it without a payment subscription. In the comments here the company says it is free which was not true.
