this is probably the best focus app i’ve ever used! i’m a chronically distracted person and something about the quest/game aspect actually made me want to continue working. it’s simple to use and doesn’t hide most of its features behind a paywall. also, the art is very cute! the one thing i will add is that i would love to see more furniture/decor options in the future :)

Very useful!!!
It seems at first glance to be another study timer, but it is the only one that has gotten me to regularly look forward to doing work! I think a way to add to-do lists should be implemented, but everything else is great

This is such a cute productivity app! I’ve tried so many and none of them have seemed to actually help with motivation to actually lock in but because this one is designed as a sort of game with an actual story to progress through you feel motivated to do it. It also helps that you can see when other people are focusing too! It would be nice if the character icons had a wider range of skin tones tho :/

Procrastinator’s Dream Tool
As a professional procrastinator, I’m genuinely shocked and so pleasantly surprised by Pixeldoro. This app has helped me build a less resistant, if not outright positive, relationship with my tasks. It gamifies focus in such an effective way, with enough stimulation, goals, and prizes to stay engaged and motivated, without either pulling you completely off-task or losing interest from lack of depth. I have it across my computer, iPad, and phone, which makes the habit of conditioning myself to enjoy focusing more accessible, consistent, and ultimately, more effective. Love this app!!

Best timer for productivity
Feels like club penguin but for real life goals, only wish that there was a lobby chat feature where you can socialize during breaks or mini games to do during breaks would be fun too. I have a feeling this will come in the future because of how many great updates they have been adding
this is so fun!
I was looking for a new pomodoro timer because my old one made me list out all of my tasks and the time it took for each one which was super overwhelming. This app does not do that — thank god — and the added storyline and tags makes it so much fun! Focus feels less like a chore and more like a game, lol. I’m less overwhelmed and more determined to complete each quest and get money for the characters and furniture. Plus, having to go into the app to start the break makes me feel more involved in the work. Genuinely so much potential!! Like, I never write reviews but I had to for this one.

Best Pomodoro Timer!!!
I have tried many different kinds of gamified focus timers and this is the only one that genuinely keeps me locked in and helps me balance my work life. Goodbye procrastination! I love the anime vibes, I LOVE the music and background noise, the timer aesthetic looks gorgeous with my desk setup, and I actually feel motivated to complete the game’s quests. I pray pray pray that this gets way more attention so the developers can add more features. I’d be THRILLED if the NPC’s could become interactable (maybe a relationship building feature, or side quests?) and if I can take care of my cat in the game. 🥹

This app is so cute, I get excited to earn tomatoes. Reminds me of my old Pokemon game, I really like this app! Good job developer. I also agree with someone else’s review-it would be cool to have chat time with other study users but limited to breaks only. Might be a bit difficult to moderate tho… Otherwise sending other users pre-made motivation quotes or smth, like you could click and send a ‘keep going!’ or ‘good job!’ or ‘don’t get distracted now!’.

It is a really fun idea, however, I wish there was a more social element to it eg: sending friend requests to people using the app and studying together. it could maybe be moderated by pomodoro use eg: study a pomodoro and in your break the chat function is enabled (but only during the break after a pomodoro?) idk, but i think its a vv well made app and cant wait to see where it goes!

Focus and Fun
Hsving tasks gamified has been extremely helpful and Pixeldoro has helped me be more proactive n studying for a licensure exam and staying on task while at work. I've spend far less time doom scrolling thatn I would have with just a plain old pomodoro timer.
