Very good

This app is very good, but will be a five star app If you could fix the bug that is causing the picture not to be saved because every time I close app and reopen it it resets back to the original picture.

Fix the fish!!!

I had this app long ago. It was beautiful. The fish moved gracefully, realistically. Their bodies curved if they changed direction. I could drag my finger through the water or add little chunks of food, and the fish behaved like living fish, some might approach my finger and others might be more timid, some approached the food slowly then would grab and dash away. These fish are stiff, cartoon-like, and movements are synchronized and not at all unique, adding to the fakeness. It seems nothing moves but the ends of the tails, and it doesn’t matter whether you have one fish, 2 or 20, they are all in sync: they all waggle tail tips at the same speed, same direction, same rhythm, and physically they all look pretty much the same (like copy/paste over and over). The original/old app was absolutely beautiful; this one, not so much. I encourage the developer to spend some time on the FISH, not just music or items like static flowers to stick on top or more backgrounds. It’s been years (see version history and earlier complaints) since any effort was applied to the FISH, and they are in bad need of attention, including more artistic and realistic rendering. It’s call KOI pond, but the koi are the weakest part of this app.

Dear user, thank you for your feedback. Feel free to use it. We will continue to optimize the fish's movements in future upgrades. Thank you! Look forward to it. If you have any needs, please feel free to contact us. I wish you happiness.

What happened to the older version?

This is awful. Not relaxing at all . You cannot turn sound effects off and the add ins especially the food look terrible. I miss being able to attract the koi by touching the water.

Response from developer

The sound can be turned off, but the sound of the water is preserved. The new version will turn off all the sounds at will, and the fish food will be eaten by the fish. The new version of any water surface will increase. The functions that are deleted include fish, and the water waves can be used to tease the fish. The way to fish the fish will be more and more in the future. Look forward to it! There will be a new version soon. If you have any needs, you can always contact and wish you happiness.

Not the Perfect Replacement For the Original

This app still needs a lot of work, primarily in the animation of the koi. The fish still do not have truly life-like movement. They slide more than swim. Only the very ends of the fins seem to move and this makes them look a bit cartoonish.

Still, this is the best replacement so far for the original koi pond app that so many of us know and love (but no longer works because it is was never updated to run on iOS 11).

This app is simple to use and fairly intuitive. Most of the backgrounds and sounds are well executed ... though some are head-scratchingly strange. Other more advanced koi apps require feeding to grow fish and more money to unlock more features. This app does what the original did so wonderfully and simply; present a peaceful, calm koi pond setting to relax with. Once you set the sounds and backgrounds and other visuals, you simply enjoy the fish and the mood.

However, the major drawback is very disappointing. The fish simply do not move in a realistic manner and this significantly detracts from the overall pleasure of the app.

One hopes the developer will eventually be able to address and fix this problem. But he seems far too satisfied with his latest iterations and updates.

I also wish the developer could find some better translation software, because his updates read too often like garbled word salad ... the kind of writing generated by bots that are attempting to create text for junk email selling viagra. Clearly the developer means well and wants to provide a good app, but it does seem like he’s far too satisfied with his current results.

Hopefully, the developer continues to work on this app and maybe someday he will get some help from someone who really knows how to animate the fish so that they appear life-like and move realistically.

Dear! I am very grateful for your suggestions, and I am very grateful for your support. I hope that more and more dear ones can know that there is such a software, it is really very good, this is the only one completely By working hard to bring you happy software, I hope that more people will know and use it and get happiness from it. I have been working hard to update, and actively interact with users to listen to user suggestions. In addition to adding other functions and more sound effects and accessories, I will make a lot of optimizations for the movements of Koi to make it more realistic. I will update it this month, look forward to it! Every update in the future will bring more powerful functions and experience. Please feel free to contact us if you have any needs.

Wish I had. Still the same complaint as those from three years ago. The fish don’t move naturally. In my head I hear ‘Zoom’ as they slowly move across the screen, though sometimes they do zip across. Oh, the floating stuff is just horrid. The food looks like donuts, or maybe it is donuts, frosted donuts.

I do like the music, but not worth the price.

Any accessories, sound effects, and backgrounds can be set arbitrarily, matched with each other, or deleted. In particular, the background can be defined by yourself. You can arbitrarily combine various scenes, or you can do nothing. It is very simple.

Okay, but could be more flexible

Like many users, I came here for an alternative to the ruined Koi Pond app. Maybe it’s not fair that we all want this app to be just like the old Koi Pond, but we really do. One feature I really liked about that app was that I could remove the fish and just play with the water against a nice background. I wish I could do that here. I also wish there were more backgrounds that were realistic for water, like the tiled pools in Koi Pond. The sky backgrounds and such here don’t make sense to me. I also don’t understand what those little pairs of ovals are. Fish food? The fish don’t eat them, so that seems unlikely. I’d like to be able to eliminate them, like I can eliminate the plants. Generally, though, I like this app and find it relaxing.

Dear, the background can be any custom, you can use your own any background to match different fish pond effects, sound effects and various accessories can be replaced at will, donuts are fish food, double-click feeding, fish food No need to worry about it, the fish will naturally eat it, and the new version will be added to remove the Koi and eliminate the function of fish food, look forward to it! Feel good to share, positively recommend, bring joy to more liked people, thank you very much for your suggestion, have any need to contact at any time, wish happy.

Good replacement for Koi Pond

After looking for a replacement to the KoiPond app, finally PondKoi has arrived. This app has realistic water and waves and you can add or delete fish, flowers, and choose different pond backgrounds. I particularly like the rocks one. You can change music or sound. Excellent job and worth the $3 for the non-lite version

Needs major improvement

The old Koi Pond app was great. It’s replacement is terrible. I thought this was going to be an updated version more like the old Koi pond app.
This doesn’t look realistic. In particular, the koi swim like robots. Disappointed but if you can improve, the stars will go up. Seriously just view the old version of Koi Pond. Even going back to my 3g it was killing it over yours.......sorry

My dear user, the software is very gorgeous, beautiful, fun, full of fun, multi-functional, but very simple to use. Please rest assured that the use of the future will continue to optimize, every two months will be updated once, the fish will be full of life, the future will be more and more functions, and everything is intelligent, automation, use will always be very simple Thank you for your download and suggestions, and finally wish you a Happy New Year, every day!

Strong work

Missed the old koi pond. This will get there. Good alternative. Customizable. Nice water. Calming Fish. If the water fluid motion was a little improved to be a little more viscous, would be nice.

Response from developer

My dear user Thank you for your support, I hope you can share a lot, and actively recommend, to bring more happiness to people, I have been working hard to create this product, the future will be updated every two months, you mentioned I suggest in the new version I will join. Finally, I wish you a happy life every day, work and study smoothly. thank you very much!

Fish move unrealistically

The movement of the fish is repetitive, unnatural, and boring. The "plops" on the pond make nice ripples than are interesting for about 3 minutes. I will discard this app. I am not a fan.

Response from developer

First thank you for downloading and using the advice, the fish is very beautiful and real, the action is also natural. Download is not the end, this is a perfect start, the future version of the update will be in the details of the optimization, so that the action is more complex, full of spirituality, action more real and natural. Look forward to it will make you happy, happy to play.

Excellent Replacement for OldKoi Pond

Everyone, including myself, was crazy for the old Koi Pond app, which was replaced by a highly inferior, frustrating Koi Pond Live HD, which we all hate. I would occasionally search for an app to replace the original Koi Pond, which was discontinued, but never found a comparable substitute. Until now. With this, you can changed the sounds, the fish, and the background. You can create ripples and "touch" the fish, who then swim off. The array of sounds to choose from is amazing! From rain to Japanese bells to music from different regions to jungle, birds, insects, waterfalls, on and on. I am super happy with this app.

One thing: Is there a way to remove the flowers from the screen?

You can arbitrarily delete and add a variety of accessories, just click on a circle which has a fork button, click on the later will become red, and then you can click on the need to delete the accessories will automatically disappear, after deleting the red The fork turns white. Use a very simple, every button function you just click once will know how it is used.Earlier reply Reserved:Thank you for your support, if you feel good, please share and actively recommend that this can give you and more people to bring happiness, this is a can accompany you all the life of the application, both men and women. As long as we share a lot of active recommendation, I can do it better. I wish you a happy life every day, work and study smoothly.

Awful

The concept is good but the fish look like they are dead and just bouncing about. Very disappointed.
