Is fun but
1 problem it needs to be updated because is works with iOS 4.3 update it to make it work with iOS 10 or later immediately because I want to play it on my iPod Touch
A let down
At first it looked like an interesting twist to an original classic and could have gone far but once I started playing the game is far too complicated in the very beginning of the game it doesn't even build up to it. And it takes forever to earn the coins needed to advance to the next level and on top of that there is a glitch in the game that sometimes after completing a match it doesn't save the coins that you earned during the match when you go back to the main menu you look at your coins and it's sometimes the same as when you started the previous match you just completed. This game was a big let down from the beginning.

Poor execution
I liked the last version of Pong and I found this version extremely poor version. I like the fact that I can play anytime I want without having to wait (Which is why this is not a single star). Unfortunately the gaining of money in the game to level up or progress is terrible. The game get so annoying trying to level up that I don't normally play it until my phone screams "Mommy!" and scares the crap out of my spouse. Otherwise I am thinking of deleting the game to make more space on my phone for that paint drying app that is more interesting.

They set u up to fail and to get ur money
This game could easily be a 5 star game but they make it SOO difficult to get coins n u need boosts n upgrades to be able to beat these guys but it takes u days to earn enough coins to get a boost or upgrade n on top of it u need coins to unlock levels n that will take days n days to earn that many coins it's ridiculous. They need to lower coin prices on everything or they need to make it where u can earn more coins per game.

Overall...fun
It is an entertaining game. My only hang-up is you pick up coins during a level, then when you finish the round and go back to main page, you don't have all the coins you won! What is the story with that?

I am 10, and my dad was a big fan of Pong. He may not have had it as a kid, but he played the home console version a LOT. Now that I have a newer, digital version, I feel like I'm in family history. Keep it up, Atari! :)
It's a fun game but...
There is a bug that needs to be fixed. Half my coins keep disappearing. N it takes a long time to earn them as it is. Wouldn't recommend spending money to save time to get better upgrades if half of its gonna disappear.

Just with better graphics, more options, upgrades and different paddles but after you buy a longer paddle it should last longer and I don't understand what the moonbeam is for.

I really like this game! Sure, they always show the same ad, and earning coins can be a little bit difficult. But when you look past that, there is a great game!

I heard that Atari is filing for bankruptcy. I just want to say I give my utmost support to the guys at Atari and thanks for making my childhood a wonder with Pong. I love Atari and hope you guys stay for good. Thanks again.
Small annoyances, but fun
The coin count is odd, and it takes forever to build them up enough to use them. On iPhone, your finger completely covers the paddle until you can build up the size, making it easy for the ball to slip past. But still a fun game that I find myself playing for longer than I intend to.
Atari's Pong goes AWESOME!
While this revamp doesn't look or play anything like the primitive original, it's nevertheless a really fun game. The music is catchy and the gameplay entertaining. I'm looking to get my wife and son on it, so we can "Pong" each other to death!
Fun
This is a fun enhancement on the original but you get punished in coin total if you do anything other than replay the current stage you just finished. Makes me not want to play if I'm gonna lose coins just for going somewhere else in the game. Change that & it would be more worthwhile to continue playing other & future stages.

Ancient and Modern
The irony of playing Pong on an iPad4 makes playing this game even more fun. If you have an iPad you need this game, come on the price is right, what are you waiting for? Pong ON!
Pretty darn fun
Fun variation of the original. It's hard though.. which makes it addictive.. so yeah. Download it for free if you can, that's what I did!! If not, still probably worth it!

Wish I could earn coins faster. Not gonna pay for them. More fun on an iPad. Wish I could link iPhone and iPad play together so all my coins were in the same place.
Satisfactory
The game is more frustrating than fun and challenging. Like what the majority have said, it takes a long time to earn coins. Your finger pretty much covers the paddle and the ball spins way too much that you usually lose by scoring yourself. MAYBE this will grow on me but I have no problem moving on to another game.

Yes the app is free but not only do they feed you ads but everything in-game costs "coins" which they constantly try to sell you more of in-game.
Each paddle has its own upgrades and none carry over. So if you buy the wider paddle upgrade it only works on the paddle you bought it for and you have to buy it again if you want it on another paddle and the upgrades are not cheap compared to how many you win from playing. Even changing from one type of game to another costs you coins.
You can barely earn enough coins by playing to advance. Its basically required that you buy coins to get enough to advance.
This game is practically a scam so if you think you're getting a free game, think again.

Fun Gameplay, Lame Upgrade System
This game is fun for a little while, but it takes a ridiculously long time to earn enough coins for paddle upgrades and level unlocks. The moon level is 6250, which is at least 50 games worth of Pong World (less your "Daily Spin"). On top of that, I constantly lose coins for no good reason after earning them in a game - it appears to be a bug related to your menu choice after playing a game. Extremely annoying.
This game is basically all about buying coins as in-app purchases. Don't bite! There are only four levels and the gameplay doesn't evolve much - at least not enough to justify $5 worth of coins.
Finally, the thing is larded with ads and has no ad-free version. Definitely worth a spin, but not much more than that.

Poor Controls
I love Pong as a game but this version does not live up. The biggest complaint I have is that in order to control the paddle you have to completely cover it with you finder which makes it hard to see exactly where the tiny ball will hit. I've already uninstalled.
