Absolutely disgusting rip off!
I had two ebooks on this app until they updated it to version 2. Both disappeared, and despite several emails nobody has EVER responded, and no refunds are available via Apple. Shameless rip off.
Terrible e-reader
Doesn’t include basic functionality such as remembering where you got up to. Every time I close a book and re-open I am back at the table of contents. It has the ability to add bookmarks but come on. I shouldn’t have to manually bookmark where I got up to.
Glitchy and minimum features
Essentially a PDF reader for the books with no functionality. Can’t even split screen to take notes. Really poor experience, bought the books to assist with training my students, wish I could recommend but just be should be made for iBooks….
New app is a huge backwards step
No ability to easily jump to a page, can't even drag the page number down to scroll. No preview of the pages along the bottom anymore. Quite a bad step backwards.
Purchases have vanished!
The latest version of the app has lost my two purchases! I bought Books 1 and 7 via in-app purchase, and now I can’t see them any more …. Pooleys don’t answer emails sent from the app, Apple won’t refund as they say to contact the app developer. Absolutely disgraceful.
New app
Nice new shiny app. Login to find my ebook missing and asking to repurchase. Nope!
Useless
App support doesn’t work. App is very basic and missing most functionality you would take for granted. Latest update does not even load.
Disappearing books
Updated to the new version 2 and most of my books have disappeared from my library! Not a good start.
Frustrating Update – Can't Access Paid Content
The recent update has rendered this app useless. I can no longer access my paid content on any of my devices – mobile phone, laptop, or iPad. Every login attempt fails, disrupting my training schedule. Extremely disappointed and expect better from Pooleys.
Unable to log in to new version
I updated the app to the new version (v 2.0) and can no longer log into my account and can not read any of the book I have purchased.
Horrible
What a horrible clunky app. No digital book mark for sections. No method for annotating. Please sell your books in a proper book store with a proper app.

You will be disappointed
I have all of Pooleys books in hard copy and needed to have a read on holiday so thought I might be able to access an electronic copy. I had to pay full purchase price again for this ebook.
Except this is not an ebook, it is a viewable pdf. However, any other pdf viewer has much more functionality than this. Almost unreadable on my iPhone as you cannot resize text. You can search, highlight, make notes, and even navigating to a page number is manual. It's the first time a paper copy actually has more functionality.
You'd be a fool to spend money on this I'm afraid. I should have read the other reviews first!

Massively outdated
The app need a massive overhaul to support modern iOS screen sizes and functionalities.
No split screen on iPad, outdated iPhone interface with no support for iPhone X or newer screen sizes.
As the only option for Pooley’s eBooks it’s a very poor option for those of us who want a digital library!

Disappointing. Purchased on pooleysebooks and i can't access them outside the app
Despite saying on the website you can download the books you cant. You can only access them via this app. I want PDF copies of the ebooks i have purchased not digital access to an app to read them. This is not clear on the website

Could do with word search, highlighting and a book mark index

So if i already have a hard copy i have to rebuy to view on the reader? Ridiculous. You should change this
Some basic functionality missing
Hi, it works to read the books but I am missing basic functionality like highlighting, commenting and searching content. It would be best if instead of the e-reader books could be published in the normal books iPad app. Thanks
