Thank you for using Popcorn Movies, your To-Watch list with powerful discovery. # New Features - Widgets are here! Check all recently released/upcoming movies form your Watchlist, at a glance. - Notifications You can now choose to be reminded about an upcoming movie release in your Watchlist and, whenever a checkin ends, to recommend the movie right from the notification! - A whole new History By default, only the first 25 items are loaded and displayed (you can change it up to a 100 items in Settings > General > Pagination Limit). In addition, a search will now match results from your Watched History to avoid loading hundreds of pages only to display the same item multiples times. Finally, you will now be able to travel back in time with the new calendar button. - Discover Introducing a brand new way to find and discover new content, with many options to refine your selection. It features a whole page full of results, a huge filter list and some presets to help you get started and understand how the feature works. If you have any feedback about this feature, please let me know so I can improve it over time and make it more user-friendly. - From your History This new section in a person’s summary gives you a quick insight about your watched movies from their filmography. # Improvements & Bug Fixes - The internal rework of Context Menus gives you even more options than ever before. For each item watched more than once in you History, you’ll get an additional option to view all plays. There's also a brand new Context Menu for people when long pressing them and a new Pull-Down menu from their profiles. From now on, your ratings can also be edited using the new option inside Context/Pull-Down menus. - The whole networking layer was rewritten from the ground up to use Swift Concurrency’s latest features! From a developer‘s perspective, it will provide a strengthened and more robust interface for all API related interactions but from your perspective, it leads to a better in-app experience and faster data loading. - Most dates are now relative to their context and use a more explicit and comprehensive format. - More content was added in Browse > Movies with a list of all upcoming movies in theaters matching your selected region. - Movies summaries get even more info when available: new movie stats, production companies, accurate release dates matching your region, original release date - if different - and metadata from your Collection (thanks to @meniK for the idea). - New sections added in Browse, improved Now Playing section (Browse > Movies) with pagination and “See All” option. - A quick access to your profile was added in Browse and removed from History and Collection. - Additional localization options required the language selection in Settings to move to General > Language. From there, you will now be able to select your language, region and watch region. The last one will be used for the new Discover feature to let you select watch providers matching this option. Additionally, all settings related to language and region are now searchable for an easier modification. - Many issues were fixed, including the following ones: localization format issues (e.g. vote count, vote average, …), Context/Pull-Down menus not displaying the correct options, decoding issues with some people’s summaries, empty searches not resetting results to their default, “more” button appearing when text was less than 3 lines in both movies/people’s summaries. - Your profile now displays your current list limits according to your Trakt membership: VIP/existing user/new user.
