Stops working
I have downloaded this app more than once. The first time it stopped working it would not open and would take me back to my Home Screen on my phone. I deleted the app and stopped using the app. When I later downloaded again after a few months it is doing the same thing. The app will not open and I am sure I still have coins on the app.

It’s ok.
I like the different stories and how it is set although it can be very expensive. However, it’s annoying that it constantly logs you out and then says somethings happened you have to log back in and then it takes long.
Waste of time
I downloaded PopFic because it was the only app that I could find the story I was trying to read (Infidelity his regret my revenge), with the option of earning coins/credits. I can’t afford to buy the story so I deliberately look for apps that give you that option.
By day 6, I could no longer claim my coins which made the app completely useless for me. The story doesn’t seem to be exclusive, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere yet.
Anyway, don’t use this app unless you plan to pay.

Stealing authors work
The app has so many authors stolen works on it, it’s disgusting. I’m emailing them every month to remove books that i know stolen. The crazy thing is most of the books are on KU even if bought them direct from

I find a lot of the book on this site are copied books without authorisation from the real author..

I have used this app a lot and like a lot of the books… however I have bought coins and I always get them right away but I have paid for the subscription 3 different times and everytime I have trouble getting the inital ammount that comes with the subscription or the bonus coins you are supposed to get everyday for logging on. I’m very upset that I wasted my money yet again trying to read more of the chapters thinking that it would be fixed up each time to be screwed over. Really debating on deleting the app. I could have spent my money on another app that dosent have this problem but not all books are on every other app …. Just going to chalk it up as a loss and I hope no one else has the same problem

Bait and Switch
A bit of a bait and switch operation. They offer you bonus points but fail to make it obvious that the points only work for the first twenty chapters. Just enough chapters to get the reader to become committed to the story. After twenty chapters the only way the reader can complete the story is to buy coins. The coins are expensive. So, unless you have unlimited funds go to other apps that treat their readership with respect. This app treats their readers with contempt.

Good Stories, Too Expensive
I admit that I like the app and the stories on here but I ABSOLUTELY HATE having to constantly spend money just to finish a book and on top of that it costs way too much to unlock a new chapter and then once you’ve bought more coins, they’re basically gone within a short amount of time! 100-200 coins just to unlock a chapter after purchasing coins just to read a story is ridiculous. Luckily I can find some of these stories on some other apps and spend less money and use less coins! Like I said I like the app but constantly spending money and wasting coins is utterly ridiculous

I bought coins and they weren’t there when I went to use them.
Costs too much
Very frustrating that most are multi books. I have spent way too much money to continue one book just to find that it doesn’t finish in book 1, and I have no idea if book 2 continues their story. I want to know what happens to characters from book 1 before I read about other characters. And it shouldn’t cost as much as it does! Most paperbacks only cost $9 if that. Hard covers are $25 and at least I get to finish the story of mc’s in it!

You buy 500 coins for $4.99 and each chapter is .99cents. The chapters are maybe 2 to 3 paragraphs . This is way to expensive.

They rip off people’s hard work, lie and say they’ll take it down, then they change the name or add it on to the back end of other stories.

This app steals writers’ work and uploads it to their site without permission. When you request for your content to be taken down, they drag their feet—I’m still waiting for my book to be removed. They profit from this stolen work by charging readers outrageous fees to access stories that were never theirs to begin with. Avoid downloading this app unless you want to be scammed or become complicit in their theft.

Horrible app
This app is definitely not worth the download. The books I browsed did even make sense. For example one was 6 books or 167 chapters total but book two-six were entirely unrelated and there was no ending or anything to book It was like a collection of incomplete stories. And chapters are on average at least 100 coins. Extremely disappointing app.

Stolen Content
This app steals content form creators on Wattpad and other free platforms to then charge you to then read said stolen content. This is a terrible business model. It hurts creators and infringes on their rights.
Cliffhangers BEWARE
They only post 50 chapters per book. Just leave you hanging! Tried four books, all the same. Don’t waste your time!!!!!!!

SO expensive
I spent $19.99 on coins and it bought not even 1/2 a book. I was able to purchase 11 chapter with 2400 coins. Save the money and just google the words. You can find the book for purchase on Amazon for cheap. Some are included in Kindle. Don’t use this app.
App is awful
I’d actually prefer to leave no stars, but it won’t let me. Coin prices for chapters are too high. You can’t leave the book using the arrow at the top of the screen. When you tap that arrow, it goes all the way back to the beginning of the book 😫😖

Alaric and Faina was stolen from the Wattpad author GroveltoHEA. Buyers beware. Save your hard-earned money. This site steals the intellectual property of authors. I’m betting most of their stories are stolen. Reward the authors that actually write the stories. Don’t give this site your money.
