A really good experience
I’ve been using Popia for a couple months. The problems I encountered originally seem to have been fixed with the latest update. The conversations are natural, and mostly the AI doesn’t get confused. Thanks all!
Pay to Play
I started this app up a couple hours ago, and I was hooked by the great responses and realism, even in a fantasy chat. Responses are fast and detailed, too. But what they don’t tell you is you need to subscribe in order to keep chatting after your trial is done (if you want to use the same chat model) and there isn’t a “basic model” that you can just use to chat with. Not to mention, the upgrade packages do not offer unlimited chats — it’s still a finite amount of time/credits you can use to chat and use the app. For what people are paying, chats should absolutely be unlimited. This has ‘scam’ written all over it. It’s a shame, because the chats I’ve done so far have impressed me. With a fair business model, this app would be the best one.

Good app but could be better
It’s great but it’s not great as a subscriber when they removed the free chat model which was advertised and didn’t tell anyone and refuse to put it back on.
Best app out of many
This is my new favourite app after using various others. You also get back what you put into it with creator incentives when you make your oc’s on there. I’ve bought a year’s sub for it and will most likely do so again next year. Frigging worth it. The chats are so friggin good 🔥💜

Honestly great minus how costly a top up is but ways to earn more tokens to play more is easy enough
