Limited medication

I’m someone who is prescribed a lot of meds and needs to plan out my medication. I wish this app would be more flexible in allowing me to set up my required medication amount

Functional app

I like how the app is easy to use and keeping me up to date ☺️

Does not allow me to add more medications

Started to set up the app and it would not allow me to set up more then 3 medications for some reason. The add medications button disappeared. So I deleted the app

Nice idea, but not reliable - avoid if you have critical meds.

I used this for a course of antibiotics. Nothing serious, but found it pretty impenetrable, and seemed to constantly be telling me I hadn’t taken tablets which I had marked as taken. Not a big issue for me, but potentially very dangerous for people with complex medical needs.
I’d avoid this app and use a simple alarm instead. I wouldn’t recommend.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback! We'd like to look into this in more detail, as the issue as you described it is rather unique. Do you still have the app installed and could you send feedback from within the app (More menu -> Send feedback) so that we can get in touch and investigate the logs?

One small change would fix everything

Popit has a great UI and generally is simple to use. The user experience flow has one major oversight: you can’t go back and edit a day.

I like to hit “snooze” on the reminders a couple times, but then will forgot to check the pill as taken when I do get up to finally take it. Then, if even a couple hours go by, you’re forever unable to mark the dose as actually taken on-time (or at all, for that matter). Really quite frustrating.

Maybe this app is intended for accountability, but this is a very poor approach if so: I’d just smack the “Mark as Taken” button the moment the alert fires and have perfect attendance and zero pills actually taken.

This probably has to do with the auto-detection in their hardware component, but that’s also just an excuse if so: let users decide during setup or default to “editable” mode if we don’t have the hardware attached.

Overall, this will lower adherence for me. Adherence issues come up for many reasons, but chief among them is forgetfulness. That means forgetfulness in to places when you have a tracking app.

Just received Popit

I just received my device so I haven’t tested it yet, but I thought you should include a link within the app to order a new/additional Pop it device should the one I have ever stop working, or if I decide I want another, or for people who are new to the app to purchase their devices.
