Crashes constantly
Pretty sure nobody has work d on it for years...
it like a low level malware
this app should be reported to apple for removal. the website is ok, but this thing! itβs just a vehicle for ads, and i suspect it harvests info behind the scenes if you arenβt careful.
there is no reason whatsoever to use it.

Horrible - insane number of ads.
Truly horrible adds everywhere. Totally ruins the experience.
Only wish I could give negative stars
I love the Popurls website but the app is nothing but a gateway to apps, pointless apps, games etc. every time I try to read an article it directs me to download a game or to the Ashley Madison app or another pointless app. Uninstalling in 3...2..1. Poof
Worst app
There is no iPad app. iPhone app uses 1/3 of screen for fluff. Can only see two items on list. Not worth using. Use a browser instead!
Please fix the bugs
I love POPURLS website, and I might never have known about it without stumbling on this app. But the app is buggy. Lots of links don't open, or they start to open and load forever. And there's one section called Fark with links that haven't changed months. Returning from an opened link to the main app put you back at the top of the list, instead of where you left off, which is very annoying when you have scrolled two thirds of the way down already. It would be really great if somebody could work on all these problems and get them ironed out.

Demands your location
The app frequently throws a pop-up insisting that you turn on location services. Why? It's a news reading app. It has no business bleeding data from you about your location. Don't trust apps that do this. Deleted.
Finicky but good
You can tell its still new because the links can be finicky at times. Also every time you go to the main screen it does not return you to your section but always goes back to the top. Other than that it is as good as the website.
Great way to get news
Forget flipboard, this app is way better. Gives me all the news headlines and I just pick the ones I'm interested in
Links don't work
I'm no longer able to open popurls in Safari on iOS and the app doesn't have the very basic functionality to open links in Safari. I'm very disappointed and I will have to stop using popurls because of this.
Please either allow me to visit the website with iOS devices or figure out how to make links work. I know it can be done because hundreds of other apps can hand off to Safari when I click on a link.
Why release an app that doesn't duplicate all the functions of the website and force loyal users to migrate to the app? Are you trying to drive users away?
