Too many redirects
When attempting to verify your email address, you’ll get either a “too many redirects” error, or sent to a site with an expired security certificate. Yikes!
Less intimidating than meetup
I like the small group activities and groups and communities based around different interests. It’s great for pickup sports and leagues, but also has non-active activities like book clubs and café sessions to have more meaningful conversations. It has already helped me improve some of my friendships with people I’ve known for a while but hadn’t really been able to get beyond surface level with.

Actually Helped Me Meet People
I’ve been using Porchside since the early days, and it’s already helped me meet genuinely interesting people, attend great events, and build connections I wouldn’t have made otherwise.
What I like most is that it focuses on real friendships, community, and shared activities instead of endless scrolling or texting.
