No Russian choice available
When you open the app, it gives you a choice of languages - which is odd because I explicitly downloaded an app that said it was for learning Russian. Worse yet, the Russian language is not on the list, presumably removed for political reasons (given the current war). Why is this app even in the App Store??

Great Once You Upgrade
With the free version, this is really hard to use due to how many ads there are and how much they slow everything down. Developers have to make money, though, so I get it.
If you pay the $5, though, it’s actually quite a good deal! There’s audio playback (for single words) and an example sentence for each word, too! Not only that, there are IPA transcriptions, too, which I was pleasantly surprised by! Much more professional than similar apps I’ve seen.
This is a great resource if you have gotten a start in the language already, understand grammar okay, but just need to boost vocabulary. Play around with the free version to see if you like it, and then I recommend upgrading because it makes the app run much more smoothly.

Cannot skip ad
I open this app for the first time and there’s a full page ad. After about five seconds a teeny tiny X shows up at the very top left of the screen. I should be able to select This X to close out the ad to actually use the app but it cannot be selected. So the ad will not close making this app completely useless.

spellings are so diverse
some spellings are robotic and some are too feminine, but overall design is almost perfect.
