Portal Browser

Portal Browser is a web browser that lets the pages you open talk to your Bluetooth devices. If you have a device that speaks Bluetooth LE and a web app built to drive it, this browser lets you use the two together on your phone or tablet. HOW IT WORKS Open any https page and use it the way you always do. If the page asks to connect to a device, a chooser appears showing the site that is asking and the devices nearby. You pick one. The page gets that device and nothing else. A web app you link can remember it, so you only pick it once. There is no directory and no list of approved sites. You type an address, the same as anywhere else. WHAT ELSE IS IN IT Tabs, private browsing, find on page, history, and the address bar down where your thumb already is. Web apps you use often can be kept as linked apps. Each one has its own storage on your phone or tablet and opens full screen, with no address bar. Site icons, history and pairings are stored on your phone or tablet and nowhere else. PRIVACY This browser collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising code in it. Everything it remembers is on your device and goes when you delete the app.
