Desperately needs update
I used this app daily for my commute pre-Covid. Now that I’m going back in to the office again it’s apparent this app really needs updating. It crashes frequently. Please update, it is so useful when it works!
Traffic/weather cams
You have to watch advertising videos before you can see the live feed, which doesn’t load half the time anyway. Also, as you are scrolling they content looking for what you want to view, advertising pops up there as well that you must scroll up to close. What happened to the old KGW app that had everything without the intrusive advertising?!

Traffic reports
When I attempt to see info about the accident in the headline, I have never been able to learn about the accident. Frustrating. I do not like this app.
Where’s the alert?
I get alerts in phone notifications but clicking only leads back to the traffic map, no alert or updates to be found. Am I missing something?
Lines are too narrow
For most of us over 50, the extremely skinny colored lines are difficult to see well much less determine whether it involves the north or southbound lanes. Zooming in briefly improves the width but it then reverts to indistinguishable again. Going to “flow” helps but seems like an unnecessary extra step.

So, you offer weather cams, you just don’t care if it’s current or working at all? This app has become useless.

Traffic flow map is too small
Glad they fixed it.
Great app to quickly pull up traffic map and see which way you want to take to get where you are going. Also they actually listen to their users. They did an update that totally ruined the app for a bit and when we all voiced to change it back they actually did. Thanks for fixing that!
Traffic map stopped working(fixed)
Since the last update the traffic part of this app(what I use this for) has stopped working. Please bring back the old traffic map.

Not happy
I use this app everyday to help me decide which way I need to go home since the traffic has gotten worse thru the years. I've loved this app. But since this last new update. I hate it. First the lines were like dashes and made it look chaotic then the cameras showed up. The title of it is 'speed traffic cam'. To be honest I don't care where the cameras are, which are blocking the view of the traffic lines. What I care about is where and what the traffic is doing where I need to go and to help me decide which direction I'm headed. I hate this app now and have not used it since. Now I'm just winging it deciding which way to go. I've stopped using this app and now I'm trying to find a different traffic app.

App
This app's map was offering something that other apps don't offer. You were able to see the traffic of where you going quickly (few seconds), and you took that away. If I want to spend a minute or two just to see how is the highway traffic, I will just use google map which now I do thanks to your update. You should also have warned people about the big changes and not describing as "no obvious changes". This app started really great, but I have never seen good improvement, always annoying changes.
Please listen to your customers, not a few employees who thought that was the best and fix the problem.

Update is NOT just behind the curtain
DISLIKE two OBVIOUS features in Aug 31 update:
- when I open the traffic map, it's now focused on my current location. I liked the previous look where it opens to a higher view of the entire metro area and I could see at a quick glance where traffic was heavy or light... just like the picture of the traffic map icon of the feature, the way it was previously. I liked opening to the broader view, then I could choose whether to drill down for a closer look.
- DISLIKE the new rendering of traffic on the map. Now it's dotted red; didn't see any green. Is it only red and yellow now? Prefer much more the previous solid color green-yellow-red rendering of traffic.
These two features I can find in apps I DON'T use for those reasons.
It feels like these two features were lifted from other apps. If I wanted to use these features, which I rarely do, I'd use those apps. But I don't.
Please consider reversing these features.

Use it daily!
I use this app daily and it's great! I've been using it for a couple of years. I don't know about alerts as some of the other reviewer's mention. That would be awesome if that was available but I'm happy to look at the map and figure out my route based on the map. It has saved me lots of time over the years! Thank you!

Helpful, mostly timely
Provides helpful information on location of traffic jams and accidents to avoid. At the very least, tells you to allow more time to get to destination. Almost always accurate when traffic slow; once or twice the situation had cleared up though still showing "red." Do you feel lucky?
Works great for me!
I use mostly the map overview and note by the color of the roads how bad my traffic is likely to be. I rarely look at the cameras. I do find the alerts helpful too - telling me there's a wreck at a certain place causing back ups on this road and that road. It helps me know I need to leave home earlier, or hang at work later because I'll be sitting it traffic if I go at the normal time.
I wish the map would remember my normal view (I'm always zooming in to the east side of Portland) and go there automatically, but other than that, this app meets my needs.

Was a great app now it just frustrating!
I used to love this app. I use it every day for my work to get around the city and avoid traffic issues and accidents. Although the alerts appear to be correct, it's hard to trust when the map rarely loads anymore. Very disappointing when you come to depend on something that is now become undependable.

Dislike update!
This app was great until the update! Before I could open app & decide where to go. It was fast & easy with big buttons to just pick what you wanted. Now it takes you directly into the traffic map. The app has assumed that is what the user wants! It's NOT what I want! I look at traffic alerts, which are VERY helpful. You have to get out of the map & go to a menu & choose! If I'm sitting at a light & I want to see which way to go to avoid accidents it is a little of a hassle now. Extra unnecessary steps when time is important. Also I used to be able to choose without even looking at my phone. Now I have to go to a pull down list with multiple items that you actually need to look at!

Very helpful!
This app has helped me plan ahead whether I need to leave earlier than normal. I did have a couple times when the app would fail to come up but that could be for other reasons. There are several tools such as map showing status, cameras, and accident reports that I use to avoid heavy traffic. If you use this app, you won't be disappointed!

All-in-one app
Eliminates my need for a couple of other less comprehensive and/or inferior UI apps. Main deficiency is the (apparent) absence of timestamps on alerts.
In the evolution of traffic reporting from the days of under-employed standup comics' every-10-minutes reports on the radio to today's tech-driven Internet apps we've lost the flexibility to get reports on surface street issues. Who hasn't exited a freeway only to get bogged down even worse on the surface alternative? It's a GIGO issue that's common to all such apps (as far as I know) but it's an issue nonetheless.
