Stuck in July
I usually enjoyed the puzzles, but my app has been stuck on July 7th since July 7th. I can see on the calendar that the calendar has progressed, but the app won’t give me the new puzzles anymore.

As others have noted, this once fun app no longer has new puzzles or updates.
Heartbreak
My former favorite game has stopped updating. Haven't gotten a new puzzle in months, but I still get notifications telling me to take a shot at today's Portmanteau. I open the app and it's already completed from July. I keep hoping it will update one day.
Bugs
I loved this app until the puzzle stopped updating a month ago and never reloaded. There’s no updates to the app so I guess I’m just stuck. Bummer, it was fun.

Fun when it works
Fun app, lets you compete with a friend to see who is faster (and needs fewer hints), but it sometimes goes days between new puzzles being released. With only one puzzle for day, this is very annoying.
Very fun but stopped updating
This has become a daily event in the lunchroom at my work, and it's been fun to solve the puzzles together but it's been stuck on July 7 for a week, and we've been missing it.

One puzzle a day?
I was looking forward to being able to play some fun puzzles. completed the ones for the day & scrolled down to click on the previous day to continue playing before realizing the ability to do so is behind a paywall. I get that these must be created by people, so you can’t just hit “new game” and have as many randomized puzzles as you want so I considered just spending the $3 to keep playing. until I see that it’s $3 A MONTH to access more. Very sick of everything being a subscription. I’d honestly rather have ads in the app and be able to access previous puzzles. have the subscription be to get rid of the ads. majorly disappointed

This app is fun and I like that there’s a daily puzzle. I understand the need for a paywall to access additional days.
One thing I think that should be added is an option to challenge the clues. Some of them are phrased poorly or incorrectly and I think there should be an option to challenge it in case certain clues get recycled.

Scoring system is a bit unreasonable, but a fun game nonetheless
Great Concept
This app is a great concept and is easy to use! The only thing I wish is that you would be given the correct answers if you don’t correctly answer the daily Portmanteau; would be great to have this added!
Love it, but wish the wording wasn’t so specific
I play this game everyday and I really enjoy it. My only issue is with the new ‘Categories’ part of the app. The last two days i’ve guessed the category correctly and was counted wrong because of the wording of my answer. Yesterday was ‘tennis scores’ and my answer was ‘tennis scoring’- which was wrong. Today was ‘books in the bible’ and my answer of ‘bible of the bible’ was also wrong. It’s very frustrating that this can make the difference between answers.

This is not your average game! It is very challenging and when you get it right, it’s very rewarding!
Better Than Anticipated
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a game that came so quickly after TikTok virality hit, but this is perfect! Just the right levels of difficulty and relevance. I wish you could do past puzzles for free but I understand they have to make money somehow, as the app seems currently to not generate ad revenue.
