Good community but needs work
Very inconsistent categories and no way of suggesting categories in the iOS app (only on web). Help is non existant and you seem to have to pay for an annual subscription in order to access the Discord community to provide feedback and get any visibility on the roadmap (why would I pay for a year’s fee for an emerging app when I can’t verify that features are being worked on?)
That said the focus on street photography is great (if a little limiting), and the community seems engaged. Seeing much nicer photos compared to Instagram.

Great idea
Its a great app, it is for photographers and is not polluted like vsco
Love it but…
This app is everything I been looking for as a photographer but, and this but is driving me crazy so its a “peeve but”, I love this app but why wont my camera and picture info pop up under my photos, I edit in light room and it shows all my picture and camera info on there but soon as I export the photo and add it to PortraitMode app it doesn't want to add my info. Im wondering if there is something I’m doing wrong or if there is something I need to turn on? Other than that I love the app just wish my photos could look more professional when uploaded with my camera and photo info underneath.

Finally an adult’s version of Instagram
Finally we can share our photos without the tagging madness, paying attention to what matters, EXIF and categories. The whole community is very cool, this app is a salvation on today’s modern internet world.
Such great potential
The idea is great, but it’s such a broken app in many ways, as of this writing.
Great platform for photography
This is one of the best up and coming apps with a strong focus on the photographer. They have addressed the crashing issues and I haven’t run into a problem since. It’s a great way to find artists all over the globe and the app keeps the focus on the photos without all the noise of social media.
App Crashes
This is 100% a great app and a really amazing fresh idea for photography.
One issue though, the app crashes whenever you go to upload a photo
I’ve have tones of older flicks I want to share but app will just crash if I scroll looking for them.
Please fix because I really want this app to work 😁

A good start
This app has so much potential for street photographers. I’m loving what I see. The only issues I see is there’s no way to see who you follow posts and the fact that it takes forever for my gallery to open when I’m trying to upload a photo. However these are minor to me and I will enthusiastically still use the app. Highly recommend.

Solid platform for street photographers
Some small hiccups when uploading causes to crash still. Nevertheless i’ll support it until they fix the bugs. Hopefully it takes off in place of Instagram for photographers and stays true to us.
Crashes
Crash crash crash. That’s all it does.
Promising
Looks decent, more about photography but the app crashes everytime I try and upload a photo.
Very promising platform
Super clean, high quality uploads with full exif data, solely focused on street photography. Yes it is very barebones at the moment, the navigation could be improved and there are a few odd bugs but I am very excited to see what Portraitmode.io will become! We need to support emerging platforms like this to end the monopoly of online photography sharing.

Good Start!
Love that the app exists!
Unfortunately trying to upload photos from my iPhone 13 Pro causes it to crash every time, even after a reset and reinstall.
Can’t wait to see updates! The app is promising 😁

Just street
Remember back in the day when a certain other little app appeared that was just for photographers and there was such a buzz about it? How it felt to be able to connect easily to likeminded people about photography on your phone and it was mostly just for photographers who didn’t just want to share their dinner date etc, and it didn’t matter how many people ‘liked’ your image? Well this takes me back to those early days - well done David for bringing life to this idea
