Stripped down to nothing!
I have purchased earlier versions of Portrait Pro in the past but it’s been a while, so I downloaded this from the App Store and bought the lifetime membership. Sadly, the app has been stripped of most of its versatility. I cannot even load a photo from a file - it has to be in the Apple Photos App. I want my money back. I should have tried the trail version first, but the versions I purchased a few years ago were great. This one is horrible.

Crash after crash
Might as well go back to the desktop for this kind of work. Not even worth the bandwidth to download, let alone with additional subscription charges.
Mask tool has a lot of lag
Would love this to work but mask tool simply runs miles behind my pencil. I am using 12.9 M1 iPad Pro.

Upgrade to version 21 not available for iPad as yet
PortraitPro 19 is a useful app to use, however it is a bit disappointing that there is no upgrade to version 21 available for iPad users at the moment. Jim Mc Gill
Caution - less then half resolution output.
I don’t mind paying for a program or app. Quit calling it pro and then stripping more than half our resolution on output! There is no better quick retouching... but this resizing is a joke.

If you took your hard earned money and purchased this software for your Mac, and would like this on your iPad, then you’re going to have to work harder. I paid for this software already. What makes you think you can do an exact port of the software without even tweaking it a bit to make sure it works well on iPad. AND THEN CHARGE TO USE IT

I own portrait pro19 .. but I have to buy it again and pay a subscription to use it on my IPAD?
Disgusting that I own this program .l the latest version even.. but have to pay a subscription to use on my iPad. Thank heavens Adobe isn’t like this. Anthropics is the worst.

The current App is not worth it.
I am not satisfied with the app. I have the Profession Portrait software in my computer; I love it. But you need to work better for the iPad app. When I try to manual the face lines and make a mess. NOW the app keeps stop and I have continually reopening. I have paid for a YEAR. I hope my money for the app is worth when you FIX it.

I really wanted to love this
I am a long time user of Portrait Professional on PC and Mac. I use it all the time and it’s super useful.
A number of years ago, they released an older edition of PortraitPro for iPad, and i was super excited to try it out, until I opened it. It would cap your file outputs at 7.9 megapixels. That was PortraitPro version 15 I think.
So then years later the iPad Pro comes out, and I’m actually editing on my iPad almost exclusively. IPad Pro is becoming a pro photographer work horse. And I get curious to check if a new update is out, and low and behold, a new edition of the PortraitPro app is out! But THIS has the SAME file resolution cap. WHY?!
This app literally has pro in the name! and this time, THEY ARE charging $109 for it!!! Come on guys. This is garbage. I am fortunate that I only sprang for the $7.99 one month to see if the file resolution cap was there. I was seconds away from springing for the $109 out of sheer excitement, hoping the folks at anthropoids would take this seriously. But with a 7.9 megapixel cap it’s essentially crippled at birth in the year 2020.
Ultimately, I’m sure version 19 is wholly competent software. But unless you give me full res output and control over how it’s exported, hell no.
This is a waste of time until they lift that file size / resolution cap. Or at least remove the name PRO from the title. Sorry. Nothing pro to be found here. I would happily pay $109 for the full software if you lifted this cap. Even if the cap was around 18-20 megapixels. I would go for that. I would MUCH prefer to do my editing exclusively on my iPad. But until that day, not spending another cent. My version 17 on Mac is serving me just fine, thank you very much.
(PS, my iPhone camera takes larger pictures then this can export, at least 12 megapixels. Completely useless to anyone until this is fixed)

iPad app
How come I can’t use my licensing code to use on the app if I have a paid one on my computer that I use? I could understand if I didn’t have one. But I brought your products for years but this doesn’t make sense for me to have to pay again just to use on my iPad.
Good start but app still needs work
I use PortraitPro all the time on the main computer for quick retouching of our clients portraits and Headshots in our busy studio. Was excited to fined out it’s now available on the app as we take out iPad on location shoots and can show our clients a quick edit.
The app is good and works the same way as the desktop version, but it still has a long way to go. For instance on an iPad Pro the app dose not fit the full screen, there is blank space and in my opinion wasted space. The screen dimensions for the app needs updated. When adjusting the makeup settings it can be a bit buggy on the screen and not as smooth response as the app should be offering.
All in all a good start and with some small updates could be a number one app for photographers on the go.

You get a big surprise after you download the app. When you open it, they want your money and lots of it.
