Im a new leaner of Portuguese, this is a great app to know which words mean what, you can search in either language and it will give you the answer with different examples

No Settings

I usually have an open mind with apps but I couldn’t find a setting ANYWHERE. I just want to change it from Portugal Portuguese to Brazil Portuguese but there’s no sign of the settings at all. I’m sorry I really don’t want to be rude I just am unsatisfied with this service and I want to leave a suggestion so it can improve and guide future Portuguese learners.

Hello, We don't provide Settings but you can find our Dictionary User Guide by tapping More > Help. We support both European and Brazilian Portuguese in the same app. You can find additional language specific context for some words such as bathroom or "banhiero" but tapping on the blue globe icon in the search bar. If you see any words missing or with incomplete entries, could you let us know which ones? Please email info@vidalingua.com, Attention Marc, so we can work together to make our app perfect. Unstable App, keeps crashing

Won’t stay open for more than 15 seconds and having looked up a word, you click a link and it immediately closes the app! Frustrating because it could be so good.

Asking for more money

I like the app, so that I paid 3.99 for add removal, but now it keeps showing adds and now it will not restore purchase, and worse, it wants 12.99 more.

Presuming with ads??

I already paid for premium and all the sudden I’m getting ads? I paid for it a few months ago and have been using it consistently. Now I’m getting ads all of the sudden. Please fix this.

Oh, wow

Super easy to use in either direction, and you just have to tap on a word for pronunciation. And it has LOTS of words.

Quality Portuguese App

I downloaded this app to lookup a few words of Portuguese but it's quite a bit more than I expected. First it pronounces word with Portuguese and Brazilian accents which is pretty cool. There are loads of examples of expressions, some sentences too but I would like to see more in this department. There is a sweet flashcards tool hidden in the more tab. I make my own lists by favoriting words to use for flashcards. You'll need to switch this on in settings. I used this app to translate Brazilian song lyrics. I found pretty much everything I looked for plus I can access stuff like Wikipedia for dictionary words directly from the app. Last feature which I like is being able to attach notes to dictionary words. Comes in handy to remember figurative uses of words in songs.
