Run your Odoo point of sale as a real app on your iPhone or iPad — not as a browser tab. POS SoftSolvIT connects to your own Odoo 19 server and gives your counter what a web POS on a tablet cannot: selling that keeps working when the internet does not, receipts printed straight to your thermal printer, a drawer that opens, and cashier rights you control. WHAT IT SOLVES - The network drops and the browser POS stalls. This app sells fully offline from a complete local catalogue and syncs the moment the connection returns. - "Wi-Fi connected" does not mean your server is reachable. The app probes your Odoo server directly, so a dead uplink reads as offline instead of failing mid-sale. - Printing usually needs extra hardware in the middle. The app talks to network ESC/POS printers itself — receipts, gift receipts, kitchen tickets — and kicks the drawer. - Two devices on one session step on each other. Order-ownership and session-closed guards warn you and drop the order before any money is taken. - Cashiers see figures they should not. Three Odoo rights tiers decide who can discount, edit a price, delete a line, move cash or see the expected till. - Arabic counters get a left-to-right screen. The app is fully localised in English and Arabic with true RTL. SELLING - Category-first grid, product search, and barcode scanning by camera or hardware scanner - Product variants and combos with min / max / free quantities and extra prices - Price lists resolved on the device, so prices are right offline - Order presets such as Dine In or Take Out, each with its own automatic service charge - Fractional quantities, per-line notes, a receipt note, per-line discount, manual price edit (rights-gated) - Find or create a customer, saved locally and to Odoo - Live draft: a new order is saved the instant it starts, and every edit re-saves it - Save for later, resume a parked draft, or pull another device's draft from Odoo CHARGES, PAYMENT AND REFUNDS - Service charge, pre-tax sale discount and global discount, with tax refunded proportionally to the correct accounts - Maximum-discount cap enforced everywhere - Split payment across methods, automatic change, exact-cent tenders accepted - Customer-account methods require a customer, as Odoo does - Edit payments after validation (rights-gated): the order is marked EDITED and every change is logged - Refund from history, partial or full, linked to the original lines so nothing is refunded twice PRINTING AND CASH - Multiple network printers, 58 or 80 mm, copies per order, test print - Receipt, gift receipt and prep tickets with per-category printer routing - Your logo, prepared automatically for thermal paper; luxury or compact layout - Auto-print after payment, plus PDF download and share - Cash drawer trigger rules: every order, cash only, or cash and mixed - Cash in / cash out with a reason, written to Odoo as a statement line SESSIONS AND REPORTS - Open with a cash float, or continue a session already open on that POS - Counted cash and a closing note recorded at close, with a maximum-difference cap - Closing posts to Odoo and creates the accounting entry; a close that cannot post fails loudly - Z-report: payments by method, cash control and full order detail, at 80 mm or as PDF - Session history with Z-report reprint; order history with status chips, date filters and grouping RELIABILITY - Offline-first by design, with automatic sync of queued orders on reconnect - Guards for sessions closed elsewhere and orders claimed by another cashier - Device limit per database, light / dark / system theme, idle brand screensaver - Built-in Help & Support, a first-run walkthrough and a help button on every screen REQUIREMENTS An Odoo 19 server of your own and a SoftSolvit subscription are required; the app cannot be used without them.
