One of the best 3d poser apps I’ve tried
Just as the title says, this is definitely one of the best 3d poser apps I’ve ever tried. The 5 dollars for the full app is completely worth it!! This helps me so much with my art.
You can tell the creators genuinely cared for the app
Sometimes it’s a little difficult to get the exact pose, but all the poses you could ever want are possible to create within the app, and the free version is really enough to work with for anything. You can have multiple characters, change all the joint positions, change the camera angle and the angle of all the limbs and the character themselves. They even have interactions with the floor to make it easier to make seated positions. I mean there’s really nothing more I would want out of an app. I only got pro because I wanted to support the app tbh (and it helps to unlock the hand features and the werewolf head can open its mouth and adjust the teeth and expression which is just fun) it’s SUCH a lifesaver for my art!

Buy it buy it I promise its worth the money holy cow
This is excellent. Simple and straightforward yet incredibly powerful. The more realistic proportions are just more helpful compared to more stylized apps like MagicPoser (though I’ve enjoyed that too!). There are so many small details here that just speak to being built for artists who need a quick pose reference. Sticky feet for fast foot posing (feet automagically flex the toes to make contact with the ground if the foot isn’t posed flat); the unique touch interface system; being able to save custom poses ?? I’ve seen paid apps that don’t offer this! Being able to lock/pin specific body parts is also FANTASTIC. Also you can create more stylized proportions in pro using the modified mannequins like HELLO? If you didn’t know, you can pick any movable body part from any of the mannequin presets and mash them together, in addition to SCALING each part however you like and then saving it as a preset! I tend to draw my heads larger than realistic so this was so so helpful.
It took me a couple minutes to set up a scene to my liking, export it to photos and then drop it in my art app as a reference. The cherry on top is that the dev only charges a flat rate for the app—I’d pay it twice over happily!
If I had any dev suggestions, I’d say maybe more props, or possibility to import low-poly .obj files. Also! Not sure how hard it is to separate limbs into their own rigs with the figure rigging setup, but that could be a fun way to add multiple limbs etc.

Best pose reference app
I have been using this for a few years now and its the best one I’ve used, and has the most intuitive way of moving the model. It is definitely worth the money (thank god its a one time purchase and not a $20 weekly subscription). But I would pay extra for things like more different models, like different body types, props, shapes, etc. Though you can actually edit models and scale parts of the body and save the edited models, though in doing this a lot of times they end up being anatomically off, such as the neck being too short and things like that. And more pre-made poses would be nice, though you can save poses you make to use in other scenes. One issue I used to have is it crashing when I tried to save scenes. But that doesn’t happen anymore, it just freezes but eventually saves. I have had clients give me screenshots of models in this app to show me poses they want their characters in for commissions, so that can be another use. 5 stars.

Has potential for animation but one problem
I say this beacause the posing and body is perfect the problem is everything is pro and that is bad for marketing to people who don’t want to spend money on subscriptions

Out of all other apps like this, I actually felt like I had control I can create complex poses that would normally take me longer with other apps in just 13 seconds
Only one issue..
Wanted to buy the in app purchases - it won’t let me! None of the buttons work.

The free version is completely useable. It costs $5 to unlock everything. No subscription. I paid before I started playing, just because it was such a small fee.
The interface seems pretty well arranged, easy to navigate.
I'd never tried an app like this, so I can't compare it with other options (I think all of them are subscription, aren't they?). Yet it was easy to get started. It'll take practice to make the most of the mannequins, of course.
Also, there are quite a few tutorial videos, from the developer as well as from users.

It crashed my phone
I’m an artist, I found this app and was like “let me try it!” Second I opened it, whole phone crashed.

Some stuff to add
I think making an option where characters can be translucent can be helpful for trying to find good pose. Noclipping function would also be nice. Cool app!

I want to say this is a perfect app for drawing if you don’t have enough money for a Bodykun figure $14-$100 or MAYFEX figure $115- $200.
So far it’s helped me quite a bit, but I do have to say I’m also still trying to figure out how to draw people. For me I can’t get the right dynamic pose to make the character I’m drawing feel “alive”.
I’ll eventually figure it out though since I’m watching more anime tutorials on YouTube.

Something I think that could be added to Poseit is a screen filter that allows you to see multiple vanishing points to get different dynamic perspectives. This would allow me to draw wider scenes and allow me to better understand foreshortening with characters.
I’m unsure how you would be able to add this as a feature, but if you could that would be awesome. It would also make it easier for people who want to draw the fish eye effect.

Underrated… needs some work
This is seriously a very underrated app. It’s easy to use after you get used to it, and the free version is actually usable unlike a lot of other similar apps. The pro features are locked behind a one time payment of $5 rather than a monthly subscription which is even better and helps it stand out from other apps like it. I’ve already seen an improvement from my art since I started using it, and am considering to buy the pro plan. The biggest downside to this is that there isn’t much options in the pro plan. I would like to see more options added, such as more creatures and animals, and more props. I would gladly pay more money for to unlock more options. What helps this app stand out is the user friendly interface and the fact it’s cheap yet good. Many other similar apps lock everything helpful behind expensive monthly subscriptions most people can’t afford. I believe that this posing app can easily be a go to for thousands of people if there were more options and it kept its one time fee for unlocking the other options. One other quick thing I do enjoy is that the female body model is part of the free plan. Many other similar apps lock the female body behind a paywall for some reason, so I was so happy to see that there is both a male and female body option!

My review/REALLY GOOD!🌷/*Honest*
Initially my expectations were very low just like my expectations for any other 3D art posing app but I’m actually very pleased with this app! And trust me I have tried every pose 3D thing on this App Store and this one is overall the best it’s free and so fare no ads and it has lots of mode for free in the actual app hes there are those pro things for different people and hand pose but there are still good free poses. So once you get used to the controls in this app you will love it overall this is a very good app and needs more hipe ❤️❤️❤️!!

Best posing app!
Only 5 dollars one time payment for the full features and plenty of things available for feee (male, female, and gender neutral dolls). The controls are very unique but SO dynamic when you get the hang of them! such a great app if you’re looking for poses!
Finally not a subscription
I hate subscription services that charge you insane prices a month to do the exact same thing that this app does in a one time payment. I would suggest to the developer, however, adding more body types or having a slider to change musculature or body fat like it has for details

Favorite Posing App
Been using PoseIt for almost 5 years now and I recommend it to all my artist friends. It’s a bit buggy at times, but $5 for the premium version is honestly a great price. Wish there were more props (especially animals) and maybe a few more models, but I get along fine with my custom models. Overall it’s absolutely worth the price, whether you get premium or not. Hope to see more updates in the future <3
