Doesn’t work in 2025
Refund please. On iPhone 14 I cannot change any colors or # of colors. Was a good idea but needs updating!

I’ve had other high contrast apps, now defunct. This one is poor at directions, actually lacking directions. Cheap imitation.

Pro version: 4 zones to edit with a range of colors from grey scale through some blues.
I was expecting a little more control. You have no way to control which values in the image will shift and be assigned to the 4 zones, so you’re left with whatever the app chooses; your only other control is which new color of grey or blue you want those fields to be.
If I would have demoed the premium version for 2 minutes I would not have paid $2.00 for the unlock.

Not user friendly
This app is so vague. It’s very difficult to navigate any information in the app.
Could be great if…
The sliders for adjusting the color didn’t go off the box to where you can’t adjust that slider and if you could save the color adjustment after. I have a screenshot of the issue but nowhere to show it.

I want this to work because I need it, but This app does not work. Can’t select number of colors, but default appears to be 4. Using Pro. But only 3 colors appear. The menu items don’t describe what you can do. One item is “Zoom” which actually is where you are supposed to select number of colors but that option to change number is not there. Sometimes it changes different zones for a particular color than in a previous session on the same image. can not recommend

This is rubbish
Don’t be fooled. It doesn’t cost much so I thought what the heck I’ll download. It is impossible to use and nothing like described. They are counting on thousands of people spending a few dollars. A rip off.
Postershine app is a waste of money, to me!

This Pro version is ad-ridden. In addition the advertising does not match available options. This is not the only app by this developer that in my experience has been a dud.

Yes there are more complex systems out there but they cost a heck of a lot more than $1.99. It’s great for a quick breakdown into four values.

Few Issues
1. App Support isn't enabled, forces me to write a review.
2. If you try to load a new photo after saving a modified one to photos, you get a blank screen that requires you to restart the app.
3. Once app restarts it loads prior saved image. Trying to load a new photo causes app to crash out to home. Must close and restart (sometimes more than once) for new photo to load and app not crash.

Great Shine Series for making photo art!
I purchased bundle and am very impressed with this series of apps. Simple UI and easy to create vector-style artwork from photos. Still experimenting but pleased with results.

Would be ideal to have more options to change each colour and not just 4...
Some good points
The fine control is missing and that makes the apps fairly unusable. For instance the toon app makes a half hearted transformation but there are no controls to add or adjust. The poster app is actually quite good but there is no way to cancel what you've just done or 'go back'.....You have to start over.
Very under developed and useless for serious design - though some things are quite good for messing about with. Don't buy if you want fine controls, because there arn't any!
