About
PostureTomato is a focus timer with a second job.
Start a session and a tomato grows on the vine while you work. Wear AirPods and the tomato does something else too: it mirrors your head. Lean, tilt or sink toward your shoulders and you see it happen, live, on the fruit.
Posture is not scored, judged, or diagnosed. At the start of each session you settle into whatever position is comfortable for you, and that becomes your baseline. From then on the app only tracks how far you have drifted from the way YOU sat down. There is no correct posture to live up to.
The tomato ripens as you hold your baseline and stays pale when you drift, so you can read your posture out of the corner of your eye without ever being interrupted.
Finish a session and the tomato is harvested into your crate. End one early and it gets squashed into a ketchup sachet, which lives in the drawer for seven days and then expires.
WHAT IT DOES
• Pomodoro timer with focus and break lengths you choose
• Live head-position mirroring through AirPods motion sensors
• Calibration so posture is measured against your own baseline
• Ambient feedback through fruit colour, no pop-ups mid-session
• A posture summary at break time, not during focus
• Harvest crate for finished sessions, a ketchup drawer for abandoned ones
• Optional gentle reminder after a long slouch: a soft sound in your AirPods or a notification
WHAT YOU NEED
Posture tracking needs AirPods (3rd generation or later), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max or Beats Fit Pro. One earbud is enough. No AirPods? The timer, crate, drawer and sounds all work without them.
PRIVACY
Motion data never leaves your iPhone. No account, no analytics, no network connection of any kind. Your sessions are stored on your device.
A NOTE ON HONESTY
This app does not tell you whether your posture is good. Head orientation alone cannot see your spine. What it can do is notice when you have drifted from the position you chose, and show you, gently.
