To clarify, the option to customize budgeting rules is a part of our premium subscription. The maintenance and updating of the app, including infrastructure to support it, requires ongoing costs; therefore, we have kept some niche features under the subscription plan to support the business. That said, we genuinely want all users to benefit from the app, regardless of whether they’re on the free or premium version. For this reason, we’ve included the 50-30-20 rule—one of the most common, proven and effective budgeting methods—as a free feature for everyone to use.
