Thank you, developer, for giving the option to revert to the previous layout! That sets you apart from the zillions of word games with the silly circle where you swipe back and forth. There are far too many word games with the circle, so I’m glad you gave the option to continue with the previous version.

When I fill in the word ring it keeps banging on, and won’t fill in the words. What a sad loss.
Changed format
I used to play this game all of the time. The new format is very disappointing. Terrible layout. This will no longer be my go to game.

Ruined the Game!
I’ve literally played this game every day for over six years, even with the family as we would take turns. The new update has ruined it! Horrible layout and tried to make the game like others with a zigzag pattern. I’ve deleted the app. So sad.

New format
The new format is harder to read as well as maneuver. I doubt I’ll keep the app, there are so many others.

Score keeping bites the dust
All scores are gone. Used to be fun but now I hate it. Started acting up a week ago. Even when I get 100% right — gone.

It’s needs to have a back space and and a repeat button so you can put that word back and add an a at the end of the last word. But it is a fun and addictive game. Love it but would love better with improvements.
Close, but no cigar
The letters don't fall back in the order put up on the board, there's no button to put up the previous word so it can be added onto, some words aren't in their dictionary so the board won't accept it, and you have to click on a letter to remove it so you have to move your hands away from the buttons at the bottom, the keyboard is too slow in accepting letters; all this wastes time. Everything needs to be streamlined. This version is not ready for prime time.

WHY NO MUTE OPTION?
Nobody wants to mess up their phone's volume levels just to play a game.
Especially for a game requiring thought, silence is golden.
How difficult can it possibly be to add sound controls in the game?
I'm deleting this app. Its a shame because i like the relaxation of games without a time limit. But, The sounds for this game are extremely annoying and totally unnecessary.
If you update and add mute option I will definitely reinstall and rate five stars.

This developer is terrific. I thought there was no mute option and sent an email. I got a very nice prompt reply from him telling me where it was located (in my defense, it was really tiny way on the upper right of game screen instead of in the options menu :)
I love this game not only due to that. There is also an option for untimed play which I like for relaxing.
Also the option for seven letters was just added. There are lots of anagram-type games out there but this one is the most flexible.
Kudos to a very thoughtful and attentive developer. Thank you. Your efforts are truly appreciated and I wish you much success.

Why type those words in then if you don't expect them to be an answer?! Super game, can be played if you haven't much time or if you have hours. Awesome.

But please update the spelled dictionary to the latest version of CSW12. This is the only thing that let's the game down.

This would be a good game if it was programmed properly to accept ALL words. And I also find that I've been punching in words it won't accept only to find it was lit up as missed in the end. What the???!!!

The game is no longer functioning correctly on my i.Phone. It now completes itself midway through
a game. I have tried reloading and have reported this but no response form the developer. Suggest you do not download until fault has been reported as being rectified therefore.

I love the idea of this app, it's fun and makes my brain think! My only issue is the word lists!!! I lookup a word I miss and it doesn't exist, it's very frustrating that I have to just guess at letter combinations for random nothing in the end. Would be my FAV if they could fix that issue! Overall a lot of fun.

Good app, "pleonastic" wordlist.
Pow-Word has been stable and elegant in my testing. It's fun with passable graphics and decent sound feedback. The high score implementation is great.
The problem comes from the wordlist. Although these words may "officially" be admissible, they're nothing more than gobbledygook to 99.9% of the population. This leads to a bunch of guessing about letter combinations. (Anyone who argues that point is either a linguist or has an obsessive-compulsive relationship with word games. ;)
Overall, a fun and stable app. Nonetheless, having more control over the wordlists would be a nice addition.
