Can’t force manual update. Voltage on the unit will give an update, and when you charge it or make changes it takes hours or days to update.
Although you select certain criteria for notification, they don’t always send. Vice Versa when you turn one off, they keep coming.
The last issue was the geo fence, on the last alarm (I forgot to disable) I received notification about 40 miles away.

Customer Service is AWESOME
Had a question about logging into app and they actually ANSWER THE PHONE! I couldn’t even get my sales guy to do that after I spent a $&@“load of money on my ride. Best $20 a month I ever spent. They also have a mechanic on the phone if you’ve got questions so that was worth the twenty bucks alone.
