About

Power System Lab helps cadets and marine electro-technical officers understand electrical principles, practise their skills and revisit difficult topics. Understand before you answer Explore 33 topics covering electrical fundamentals, generators, motors, protection, automation, measurements and ship systems. The library contains 575 learning steps with 412 short checks: plain-language explanations, worked examples, illustrations and interactive models. Before a new test, study material selected for its questions. Change the topic or test length to practise what you need. You can also open full topics from the library or go straight to the test. Try it on a virtual instrument Use 16 practice benches to connect probes, select a measurement mode, adjust values and interpret results. Practise voltage and resistance measurements, current loops, PWM signals, timers and other tasks. Feedback helps you understand what to change and why. Keep useful tools at hand The Tools section brings together 18 tools, including electrical calculators, signal scaling, Pt100/Pt1000 calculations, unit conversion, resistor codes and Modbus register conversion. See formulas and explanations alongside results. Create several ship clocks, give them your own names and choose a fixed UTC offset or a city's time zone. Build a steady learning habit Revisit mistakes, bookmark questions and use spaced review. Track completed tests, your daily goal and progress. The leaderboard and local study reminders are optional. Continue on the web Use the same account at powersystemlab.net/app/. Reading progress, completed instrument practice, favourite tools and ship clock settings synchronize when online.
