Power VBT is a health and fitness app that uses video analysis to measure barbell speed, track bar path, and estimate your one-rep max (1RM). It helps you understand your strength performance and make better loading decisions for your workouts.
Power VBT builds a personal load-velocity relationship by analyzing the same lift at different loads. When sufficient data quality is achieved, it provides a velocity-based 1RM estimate directly on your device.
Power VBT offers tools for calculating 1RM from load and repetitions, powerlifting scores (DOTS, IPF GL, Wilks), working weight and plate loading, and estimates for adult BMI, FFMI, energy, and heart-rate.
Power VBT offers a generous free plan that allows unlimited training video analysis and storage of up to 5 complete source videos with synchronized bar-path replay. Numerical results, calculators, load-velocity profiles, and training history are also free.
Power Pro enhances the free plan by adding unlimited local video storage. This premium feature is available through either an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
No, Power VBT does not contain advertisements. The app is free to use with its core features and offers optional in-app purchases for expanded storage.
All your training records stay on your device. You can filter analyses and profile data by lift and source, release videos while retaining their data, or delete records at any time.
Power VBT is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod. It is designed for Apple devices and requires iOS 13.0 or later.
