About

A battery percentage doesn't answer the only question you actually have: will it last until tonight? PowerOrbit answers that one, in hours and minutes, for every Apple device you own and tells you before one of them catches you out. TIME, NOT PERCENT PowerOrbit watches how your iPhone and Apple Watch actually drain and charge, then turns that into a real estimate: how long you have left, and how long until full. Not a generic table, and not an average taken from somebody else's phone. Your devices, your usage. ALERTS THAT ARRIVE WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME • Fully charged — the moment your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Mac finishes • Getting low — with the hours still left, while you can still do something about it • Draining faster than usual — measured against your own normal, so a genuinely bad day stands out from a merely busy one YOUR MAC, FROM YOUR POCKET Run PowerOrbit on your Mac as well and your iPhone shows its battery level, charging state, health percentage, cycle count, and a measured estimate of when it will reach 80% health. Hand the whole picture back and forth between the two with Handoff. ON YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app puts your Watch, iPhone, and Mac on one screen, and its complications put them straight on your watch face. HIGHLIGHTS • Live battery level, charging state, and Low Power Mode • Time remaining and time to full, learned from your own device • Charge-complete, low-battery, and unusual-drain notifications • iPhone, Apple Watch, and Mac together in one view • Mac battery health, cycle count, and a measured path to 80% • Watch face complications • Handoff between Mac and iPhone • States shown with icons and text, never colour alone • Private sync through your own iCloud account HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CAN'T SEE Apple doesn't expose iPhone battery health, cycle count, temperature, or per-app energy use to third-party apps. PowerOrbit labels those as unavailable rather than inventing them. What it does show is what your device actually reports. NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER. No sign-up. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. Syncing runs through your own iCloud account, between your own devices. There's no developer-operated server, because there's nothing for one to do. Estimates are informational and sharpen as PowerOrbit observes more of your battery history. Actual battery life varies with workload, temperature, settings, and battery condition.
