Demand a subscription even for personal use
Considering returning the very expensive CyberPower UPS I bought because of this. There should’ve been a big warning that you required a subscription at point of sale.
useless without subscription
title pretty much says it all. you can’t access UPS through app without a subscription :/
Free Power Panel Personal gratis en IPhone.
Hola. Debería haber una aplicación totalmente gratis en todo momento para usuarios domésticos, para IPhone como yo que solo uso un solo UPS para mi centro de entrenamiento. Hace mucha falta.
Have to pay
So for one apc you have to pay to access online. Not good.
CRITICAL UPDATE NOTICE
Since the last update, every time I open the app, I get a notice of a critical update needed. When I click on the notice as directed, I get a notice that no update is available. Everything seems to work just fine. What gives?
Does not work
Poor app. Poor web gui. Account creation and login is buggy. Can’t add UPS.
Does Not Work
Please fix this app as it does not work at all. The add device button is blank and when I manage to add to WiFi nothing happens. Please fix ASAP
Subscription to Monitor One UPS?? U kidding me
The app isn’t that good and they want $12/mo to monitor one UPS. I’m sure they’ll respond that there is a trial period which means nothing. It should be free.
UX Issues
The UX on this app is pretty outdated and fails basic WCAG guidelines for mobile apps. Guess that iOS26 snuck up on the app development team. Couple of dead zones in the app that their testers apparently forgot about too.
Response from developer
Hi Sir, thanks for your comment. If you have furtehr question, please use in-app feefback function so that we can get back to faster. As for adding device and notification control, we will see what we can modify later. However, we respect every opinion from every customer. Thank you.
iOS 26
CyberPower knew about iOS 26 well over a year ago...yet there's no iOS 26 app today??? While I love the physical unit, they get an "F" for their software department for failing to provide an updated app. Inexcusable...
Unable to login
My app updated to version 1.7.1. Now it doesn’t allow me to login. It acts as though my user account never existed. I tried setting up as a new user and no matter what I do the app just says “login is failed”. Why do you break stuff with a new update? Was this version QA tested before production release?

Useless unless you pay for monthly subscription
This app does nothing unless you pay for an expensive monthly subscription. I will avoid Cyber Power in the future. I think ups is on the way out unless they can compete with solar power stations with superior batteries.

Difficult, overpriced, and under-powered
We tried this app a year ago for a handful of Cyberpower UPS’s and found that even though it was clunky, it was a easy option for basic monitoring of devices where we couldn’t install a PowerPanel Business Server, like remote sites with only a few units. We purchased the N50 license for features. Fast forward one year, and the price increased 800% with no update to features, no emails of price increases, etc. We contacted support and were told we received a promotional rate…which was still A LOT for the basic features of this app. Nowhere was that stated (I saved our receipt). We cannot renew such a mediocre service.
One of the biggest shortfalls of the app is the concept of per-user licensing. If you want two admins to monitor the same devices, they each have to register the cards to their account and EACH pay nearly $800/year to monitor up to 50 devices. Cyberpower should recognize this leads to password sharing, decreased security, and management nightmares if—heaven forbid—you add another network admin. The “share” button (apparently used to share a device to another paying user) just crashes the app.
Another downfall is the licensing mechanism. Super not intuitive to add a unit as all units are imported in unlicensed by default…so many button taps to edit and add.
Then there’s enrollment itself. Whoa. RCCARD100 works instantly…but buying a “cloud enabled” UPS with the service built-in requires a USB connection to configure! A multi-day email interaction with support revealed the lax documentation on this process. Another total miss by these guys.
The maps in the system and UPS grouping tools are cool, but save your time and money. Just use SNMP cards and setup real monitoring. We mistakenly thought this app would solve our remote monitoring issues…and now we’re having to buy remote cards for a couple dozens units.

Atrocious
Fix your email OTP system or don’t offer it. Currently can’t log in because the code expires before I get the email. So sick of bad OTP implementations. I’m upset I spent money on the hardware. Don’t buy this.
Atrocious
Don't use email for OTP if you can't handle sending emails in a timely fashion during login flow. So sick of bad OTP implementations.

Hi Sir, thanks for your feedback. We do offer 30-90 free trials for use to experience the service. What's more, the trial from cloud card is 3 years! Thanks again for your feedback and please let us know if you have further questions via the in-app feedback function.
Joke of an app
Clearly outsourced to lowest bidder. UX uses internal terminology that means nothing to customers. “Upgrade to N50”. I’m sorry what is N50?
“Login is failed”. Bad grammar all over the app. Unprofessional.
And for extremely basic stuff it wants you to pay.
Waste of 20 minutes.

CyberPower VP1200ELCD
It should be given for free. It’s a complete joke to want pay features like this for more money. I bought a expensive device and I will not pay for this. Cheaper APC Device had this features for free.
