Works as advertised
It’s an excellent app and all functionality actually works. One feature I wish it had was the ability to manually add a flight to the log book. There have been several times I’ve forgotten to hit the start before launch and not noticed until after landing. Having a manual entry option would allow me to accurately account for my flight numbers and approximate flight times. All in all this is a solid app and I love using it.

BUT could you make it so when my phone goes flat it saves the log.
ALSO when I accidentally close the app without stopping flight, save the log.

Fabulously simple and easy to use
I’ve been using this app ever since I started training in 2021. Now have over 70 flights with virtually all logged in PPG Flyer.
The interface is simple and clear with to understand. The flight logger is great, also being able to replay flights at various playback speeds.
The log export feature is also great but as other have said, unfortunately there is no height date in the export files so when loaded into Google maps etc then it looks like your driving along the ground. Have messaged the developer separately about adding height data into the export files, as it must be there since the playback gives height. Would be great if this can be added sooner than later as the export files are not much use without.
But considering it’s a free app it’s fabulous, and I would give it 5 stars once the GPX file height issue is resolved. But for now it’s 4 stars.

Great app.
I have not used a flight app. nor instruments before. I appreciate all the info. I have now. The altimeter registers from your point of origin and I find myself flying at negative numbers. Is it possible to have elevation figures of the terrain as you travel over it?

This application works well for flight but, if you want to view your flight on ayvri.com; forget it.
The app outputs a route .gpx file and not a track .gpx file, as ayvri.com likes. If you convert the file to track it will play in ayvri but you will be flying along or, in the ground; as there appears to be no elevation data stored in the flight log.
Still a good app for flight though.

Great App!
This is an amazing free app to record flights, I’m amazed that you can also export GPX file for free given that the others gps app would charge for that functionality.
The only thing that doesn’t work well is on Apple Watch.
1. If I click stop flight on my watch, the flight record will be lost and no where to be found in the flight log.
2. If I manual start a flight using my watch, the flight won’t be recorded even if I click stop on iPhone afterwards.
I figured the only way to work for now is to let it automatically start and click stop button on iPhone. I would really appreciate it if I can also click stop on my watch and allow the flight to be recorded.

PPG routing average
App works ok, but ‘route home arrow’ often jumps around the compass giving false info.

Like SuperDave O says … nothing is recorded? Coming over from Android so I was excited to start using this.
I started the app and put it in my harness pocket. Took off and I did my short flight and landed. I could see all the data that it recorded. Cool, I’ll look at it later with a friend.
I didn’t see an “off” switch, so it wouldn’t keep running while not in the air, and I just swiped the app, up, and closed the few apps that were open expecting that it would save the info.
When ready to view the data I opened the app and there was no data (flight log) saved?
What did I do, or not do, correctly?
Luckily I remembered enough of the data for my log book spreadsheet.

Hasn’t recorded anything?
Not sure if it’s me or not. But the app looks great. But when I try and use it, I open, hit start flight. I fly come back and look for any recorded flights , and nothing. Yes I’ve watched the video, I’ve removed the app and reinstalled. Still nothing. Anyone else have this issue?
I have other flight apps that work just fine, so not sure. I would like to give this one a try

Does not run on IOS 15.1.1
Love this app. Have used it for two years. Unfortunately it no longer works with IOS 15.1.1
Love it! BUT…
Can you please make this app able to export the flights and info into a GPX or IGC file so we can use upload them to websites like Ayvri. This app is so much better than the rest because of its simplicity and watch functionality. This is the only thing missing. Please make it a paid feature. Thank you so much for making this

It’s a great app.
Really love this app. The only thing that really don’t work for me was the app in the Apple Watch. Not because the app. I’m trying everything to keep the app always on. But the watch always goes to sleep mode, If I want to wake up my watch have to release my riser to could get my watch in front of me to could wake up the watch. Maybe this is not directly an app functionality, but should be good if maybe with a shake could wake up.

Flight info is nice
But it didn’t log my flight last night for some reason. I know it was running but after I landed and ended the flight with my watch I went to review the flight and there were no logged flights. Not sure why that happened. Otherwise a great app, the info it displays on my watch is fantastic!

Really love this app. Please drop the zoom slider and go with pinch to zoom. I keep trying to do that because it’s iPhone native. Everything else is great! Love making notes and watching my course.

Stuck getting gps fix
Won’t get past gps fix screen, so I can’t even test
UPDATE got it working by being in a big open field. Works great once it acquires signal.
