Glad to see PPGPS on IOS
Happy to see PPGPS has made its way over to iOS! I saw some comments about compass not working correctly but it appears to be working just fine for me on an iPhone SE2020. I hope to try it out soon on my next flight and update how the experience went.

Compass is plainly incorrect in giving a bearing of any accuracy. Do not rely on this. I don’t know what system it uses but if it’s GPS based then there should be no updates if a certain distance hasn’t been traveled (Compass should be red in this mode! Green if direction correctly calculated over a certain distance). Problem is that if PG is stalled compass is useless. Maybe use IOS compass if viable on IOS app. As far as maps, the ability to pre#download would be a good option. Downloading in remote areas is painfully slow on a cell phone. Interface should have a metric/imperial switch to quickly set between units. Having an option for Bluetooth device to be connected would be wonderful too. People can then use iPad/tablets with larger visibility of map data. Good product concept but needs a lot of work before I would buy.

Really great except the compass seems quirky
Great app....love the wind direction feature most. Makes life easy - better than the wind sock.

Potential. I would love this and will buy it WHEN:
-You can switch and view measurements in non metric (for US pilots)
