Well out of date

I should have read the reviews before I bought this. Well out of date and should be removed from the App Store.

This app is for the UK ppl.

Still useful, but not perfect for Canada.

Out of date

Sadly this app is out of date.

cancelling Mayday calls for example does not allow you to give full call sign followed by mayday cancellation.

Out of date but okay for general awareness of radio comms

This app should really be updated to the current NATS requirements, however if you realise this and study the current CAP413, then it is still useful to practice call structure as a general principal. Sadly other more useful apps for the UK donโ€™t exist at this time.

Very useful

This is a very useful app, I study in a big school and not many people , including instructors, knew about it.

It needs updating and has to be bug that I noticed that needs fixing too.

It helps you by filtering all the content from both CAP413 and communications, leaving you with most of the content they ask in the radio exam, thus, it saves time and it focuses your effort on the right parts.

Very useful app

Very useful app to get up to speed with your radio calls whilst studying for your PPL. It is a little out-dated and there is at least one bug that needs fixing (when practicing mayday calls after a correctly formatted call, you cannot cancel the mayday call appropriately as you have no option to cancel after you have stated your call sign).

Great app

Helps to practice calls over and over.
Could keep you safe in the air and reduce work load in the cockpit once confident and focus more on flying.

Outdated but worth the money

The app is old and outdated but super easy to use- content is decent but whole app needs a refresh

Chocks Off

The app looks rough and dated, however the format is easy to use and the 5 STAR feature is how it marks your performance. What you have done correctly is featured, alongside what needs corrected, how you can correct it and why you need to do to it a certain way.
Well done El Capitรกn!

Out of date

Nice app, but out of date with current radio procedures. Needs an update to match latest version of CAP 413. Canโ€™t recommend anyone spends money on it until thatโ€™s done.

Thinks it's not connected to internet

I downloaded this a while ago and wanted to use it to brush up my radio skills for an exam this week. All the locked items e.g. Basic service call say "you need to be connected to the internet to unlock further subjects". I am on wifi and online this other apps. Tried on 3G. Tried remove and reinstall. Nothing seems to make it work. When I first launch the app it has an error "index.html Error: Setup failed" which I can press ok on to dismiss.

Tony

There are errors in some responses -e.g. Under mayday calls, to cancel the mayday you need to put in your full call sign but once you have done so, you lose the option to "cancel mayday" and are then marked incorrectly!
It would be great to have an audio option.
