Great App
Super underrated app. It’s very feature rich and functions as both a great tuner and a great metronome. I wish there was an Apple Watch app, but maybe that’s in the pipeline

Best Guitar Tuning/Practice App Ever!
I have tried every app for tuning, metronome functions, etc. Most of the big players like Fender, GuitarTuna, etc. don’t tune accurately or lock key basic features like alternate tunings behind subscription paywalls. And while there are some indie devs with some very accurate tuning apps, they develop in a way that you would need to download multiple apps to get everything Practica offers — and not even, because Practica just goes above and beyond.
I found Practica while I was looking for the popular Peterson app, and was shocked to find they’ve abandoned development — the last update was 5 years ago, and yet they still charge $9.99 based price plus in-app purchases for “extras” like sweetened tunings. I’d like to know why Peterson not only abandoned their app, but then have the nerve to continue charging money for a program that isn’t compatible with modern iOS versions (meaning above iOS 12 or 13 and we are nearly at iOS 16). It should be pulled from the App Store. But I digress, lol.
Practica provides everything you could possibly need to ACCURATELY tune your guitars and practice. it was developed by a professor if you read the “about” section in the app settings or on the website. I love the variety of tuner types. My favorite has become the strobe tuner. It offers a ton of features in the same app, but they’re all super accessible and easy to use thanks to an approachable user interface that is very easy to figure out. I don’t really have anything critical to say. I’ve used this app for several months and have only had positive experiences!
Practica is worth every penny. Don’t look any farther. You will instantly delete all those useless/inaccurate guitar tuners, metronomes, et al. upon using Practica just once or twice. Stop wasting time reading my review and download Practica now!

pretty cool
the app is pretty nice and i love the feature of having a tuner and metronome. i would love to see the pitch singing tool have a different sound. it sounds really brassy and robotic and i would like it if it had a smoother piano like sound.
Great Free Music App Without Ads or Purchases
It brings me peace of mind to have an app like this without ads or purchases; it’s rare to have developers like this who are willing to spend their own money to help make musician’s lives easier. The app is great and has the features I needed, I would recommend the app of its current state to others I know, thanks developer(s).

A must-have for musicians
Had TE Tuner for years and have always been skeptical about its layout. This has a much better layout and brings more features to the table. No more switching between tuner and metronome apps. No more switching to voice memo and back, or to a drum loop app. It’s all packaged into one. As a trumpet player this has everything I need and then some. If you’re a serious musician, there is no app better for your practice and development than this.

On aurait juste souhaité un peu plus de rythmes de subdivision pour le métronome (par exemple 1x34, 123x, 1xx4, 12x4, 1x3, xx3, etc.). Mais on peut les programmer dans la boîte à rythmes, et les sauvegarder.
Le design est agréable et fonctionnel, il y a des vidéos mode d’emploi pour chaque fonction.
C’est donc une app de très bon niveau, à recommander.

This app honestly can do everything that you want a practice app to do. I really enjoy the feature where the app randomizes the metronome clicks in order to check for consistently in your tempo while practicing. There are also so many different tuner types/options, which is great because they are not usually all offered in one app. I am very happy with this!

Better Than Tonal Energy!
There have been so features that have been lacking in tonal energy. I am so happy that features like the chord sequencer and preset metronome have been added to an app. I use this app every day in my warm up and excerpt practice.
Great resource for musicians!
I have used the Tonal Energy app on my iPhone for years now. We live in such a digital world that having that technology at our fingertips is really great. Practica is the first app that can truly challenge (and be better in many ways) than everything else out there. It is already a great resource to use in my practice sessions, and I look forward to future updates that I know will bring even more functionality. Bravo!
