PracticeX: Violin Intonation

PracticeX shows you which notes were out of tune, so you know what to fix before your next lesson. Play a scale, or a piece from your own printed music. PracticeX listens and colours every note: blue when you were flat, red when you were sharp, white when you were right on it. A short report card says what went well and what to try next. Made for violin, viola and cello students, their parents and their teachers. SCALES AND ARPEGGIOS (no music needed) • Record with the microphone or choose a recording of a scale or arpeggio • PracticeX recognises which scale it was and writes it on the staff • Every note is coloured by how many cents it was off • Play it again and your takes stack up: you see the note that keeps going wrong, not just a slip YOUR MUSIC (your own pages) • Add a PDF, pictures or camera photos of your printed music: etudes, concertos, audition excerpts • The app reads the notes on your device, and you can correct anything it misread • Play, and see the colours right on your own page, bar by bar • Double stops are checked note by note CHORD TUNER • Single notes and double or triple stops, live, with the name and the cents PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your playing is analysed on your device: recordings and pictures of your music are not uploaded • No account, no ads, no tracking • Players are just names you choose, kept on your device Privacy Policy: https://practicex-web.vercel.app/privacy.html PracticeX is a practice aid, not a teacher: it hears pitch, and your teacher hears music.
