Uh oh
Since the update, the app won’t let me log in to my account. My code and password are correct, so I don’t get the issue. It’s frustrating when I go to the library and depend on it a lot for my reading….:(
Awful
This app wasn’t the greatest before. But now with the new version, it is absolutely terrible. It’s like no one even went in there and tried to use it to test it out. It’s also very very glitchy. Half the time after I put a book on hold, I go into look in my holds and it’s a completely different book than what I wanted. Also having separate entries for the same book based on publishing date? That makes zero sense. When I’m trying to find a book, I want to read all I want to see is if it’s available at my library. If it isn’t, I usually try to pick the closest town. But with this app it has separate entries based on publishing date. so then I have to go into each one to try to find out if it’s at my local library. If it was different versions of the book, I could understand. But the same exact book will have multiple entries based on the year. It was published. This app is basically useless.

Glitchy
Very glitchy. The search button doesn’t work. The barcode button is so small. I prefer the old app.
Access to Saved lists
What are we even doing here? What’s the point of an app if it cannot do the things the website can? Why is there a new version of this app and I still cannot access my saved lists from it?
Needs One More Feature
In my opinion, the updated app works just as well as the previous version. However, having the ability to star/heart/like a title in order to save it to a digital “to be read shelf”, would be so convenient. Having to go back and forth between the PrairieCat app and another book app to reference TBR titles is very clunky and time consuming.
