About

**Praiseworthy is a place for kindness, and nothing else.** Send a genuinely kind, anonymous message to someone you know: a friend, a coworker, a teammate, the person who quietly makes your day better. No feeds, no followers, no likes to chase. Just the good part: telling someone they matter. **Kind by design** Every message passes a positivity check before it ever sends. Praise gets through; insults, backhanded "compliments", and anything unkind do not. It's an app where the only thing you can send is encouragement, so the only thing you can receive is, too. **Truly anonymous** You choose a playful identity which includes a pseudonym, an icon, and a color instead of your name. Your real identity is never attached to a message, and anonymity is protected at every layer. Say the nice thing you'd feel shy saying to someone's face. **Your contacts stay yours** The people you send praise to live only on your device. Your contact list is never uploaded. You reach someone the same way you'd text them; they get a notification that a kind message is waiting. **React with warmth** Recipients reply with a small, curated set of positive reactions: a heart, a thumbs-up, a smile, a spark. There is no downvote, no reply thread, no way for a kind moment to turn into an argument. **In your control** Don't want messages from someone? Block them. Don't want any at all? Opt out completely, any time. Save a message as a draft and finish it later. Somewhere along the way, "social" started to mean noise, comparison, and performance. Praiseworthy keeps only the part worth keeping—a person you know, telling you something true and kind—and leaves the rest behind. Send a little praise today. It's the easiest good thing you'll do today.
