About
The week's most discussed clinical papers — distilled to a 60-second brief in your specialty.
Pick what you read. Skip what you don't. Surface what matters.
WHAT YOU GET
• Weekly curated feed of the top RCTs, meta-analyses, reviews and guidelines from Lancet, NEJM, JAMA, BMJ, Annals of Internal Medicine, Nature Medicine, and tier-1 specialty journals.
• Structured 60-second briefs — design, key outcomes, the headline graphic, bottom line. Same format every paper, so you scan instead of decode.
• Pivotal Studies hub — the landmark trials every clinician in your specialty should know, on tap for quick reference.
• Opt-in Sunday digest push — tame defaults, capped per specialty, never spammy.
• PDF export — generate a print-ready brief to read offline or share with a colleague.
• Personalised by specialty — pick one or many, change anytime.
HOW WE PICK THE PAPERS
Articles come from PubMed's weekly index, filtered against a transparent allowlist of major journals. A clinician-curated layer adds society guidelines and pivotal trials PubMed's automated filters miss. We never auto-include preprints or non-allowlisted journals.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Journal Scan is a triage tool. It is not a diagnostic aid, treatment recommendation, or substitute for reading the source paper before changing your practice. Every brief includes a "verify against the source" caveat and links to the source DOI or PubMed page.
PRIVACY
We collect your email (for sign-in), your chosen specialties (to personalise the feed), and a push token (only if you enable digest notifications — off by default). We do not sell or share your data. Delete your account in-app any time; deletion is permanent and immediate. Full policy at praxismdpub.com/privacy.
