Prayer Corner

Prayer Corner is a quiet space for daily prayer: the Daily Office of the Book of Common Prayer (1979), assembled fresh for each day and hour. THE OFFICES: Morning, Noonday, and Evening Prayer, and Compline, laid out in full for today: collects, canticles, and the psalms and lessons appointed by the Daily Office Lectionary. Page numbers match every pew copy. THE PSALTER: all 150 psalms in the prayer book's own translation, with the 30-day cycle and audio. THE RULE: St Benedict's Rule in its traditional daily portions, read aloud, plus a daily "word from the Rule" — one of the 72 Tools for Good Works, adapted as a short daily reminder. THE DAILY ROUND: a gentle sequence of listening for a commute or a quiet hour, drawing on podcasts from Forward Movement, Pray As You Go, sung Compline, and more, streamed from each ministry's own servers. ALSO: the bells (optional daily notifications that carry a verse or the day's Rule word, never a bare reminder), lectio divina, the Examen, stillness timers, a private journal and prayer list, and prayers for the moments life brings. Every prayer, psalm, and reading comes from its source, with gratitude. No ads, no tracking. Everything works without an account; an optional account syncs your journal and prayer list across devices, readable only by you.
