Prayer Walking The Nation is a GPS-based prayer walk app created to help believers across Ireland prayer walk their communities and contribute to a growing nationwide movement of intercession. Inspired by Genesis 13:17 “Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land…” the app allows users to record prayer walks, track routes, and visualize collective prayer coverage across the island of Ireland. Prayer Walk Tracking Start, pause, resume, and stop prayer walks directly from the Walk screen. The app records distance, duration, and GPS routes throughout each session. Background location is used only while an active walk is in progress, allowing tracking to continue even when the app is not open. Interactive Prayer Map View your current and previous prayer walk routes on a live map. Community prayer walks from other participants are also displayed, helping visualize collective prayer coverage and encouraging believers to cover every street and community in prayer. Home & Walk History The Home screen provides an overview of your activity, including total walks, distance covered, prayer walk duration, and recent walk history. Quickly start a new walk and track your ongoing contribution to the movement. Community & Engagement Stay connected through announcements and project updates. Optional WhatsApp community links may also be available to help participants connect, share testimonies, and stay informed about upcoming walks and outreach initiatives. Leaderboards Friendly leaderboards highlight top contributors and encourage continued participation and consistency within the community.
