Finally found what I’m looking for in a prayer app

Wow. I have been looking for something exactly like this none of the more popular and pricey ones have what I need. This is simple but it also has some added features without the clutter. I am really happy I found it. Only thing I wish it had was a way to make categories or separate lists so I can have all my family in one spot and all my church friends in another or any category I want to make making it easier to find specific prayers rather than them all in one long on going list without a way to categorize or sub categorize them. Besides that I’m really happy with it. This app is a hidden gem get it!

Best Prayer App on the App Store!

This app leaves absolutely no excuse for you not to pray. It’s rich with features that you won’t find in other apps. Yes, you can pull in people from your contacts list so you can focus on the person’s picture while you’re praying for them. Yes, you can actually write out your prayers if you need to. And if you’re one of those statistically-minded people, you can see exactly how many times you’ve prayed and for how long. You can also attach scripture to your prayers to help direct your focus. Also, there’s a section for journaling for when inspiration hits you while praying. But a feature I like most is that every time you pray, if you’re using the Apple Health kit, PrayerList Pro records your prayer time in the “mindfulness & meditation” area of Apple Health. And another plus, is that if you’re new to praying and are having trouble with getting started, this app will essentially turn the process into a little game for you. Everyday when you pray the app will track your “streak” and give you a special little different word of encouragement along with a scripture you can read right there in the app! So you’re not only exercising your spirit man through prayer, you’re strengthening him as well every time you study the Word of God. Finally, when a prayer is answered, the app celebrates with you! You can write down exactly what God did to answer your prayer so you can always remember His faithfulness. These are just a *few* of the features I use everyday and there are more (like the “Resources” tab) that are still under development. The Developer of this app is genius!! Not only do you need to download this app right now, you need to contact the developer personally and put a physical blessing in his hands (Luke 6:38). I did and now I’m challenging you to do the same. This young man put a lot of serious effort into this app and is giving it to you for free! And my prayer now is for him and his family to be infinitely blessed for his work in the Kingdom!

Has Potential

It’s ok. Not very robust. Some things are not very intuitive and functionality is limited. App could use a little more instructional information. Would never pay for a pro version without being able to more easily use this.

Great app! Please fix bug…

For anybody curious if you should download this, this app is an absolute hidden gem! It works smoothly, there’s no ads, and it even has a dedicated way to track how long you pray, and it puts it in Apple health!

To the developer if you’re reading this, there’s a super annoying bug where if you finish praying and hit the amen button, it asks you if you want to keep them on your prayer list. If you forget to click an answer and then exit the page, it resets the prayer time. Please make it remember when you finished praying so it doesn’t reset your progress like that!

Great Intercessory Prayer Tool

This is a great app for reminding you to pray for those people you promised to intercede for. You can add them on the spot as soon as the request is made and set up a “frequency” that you’d like to be reminded to pray for them. The only problem I see is that there’s no way to edit or update a prayer once you’ve entered it. You basically have to either delete it or archive it and start all over again. I know the “past prayers” button is supposed to be for archiving but I’d prefer a section called “answered prayers” that I can move a prayer into and write notes about how and when God answered the prayer (without changing the original prayer). I also like that the app allows you to pull people in straight from your device’s contacts list (even with their contact photo if you have one). But I’d also like to be able to add prayers about specific situations too, instead of just people alone. The most unique feature I’ve seen in this app (that I absolutely love!!) is how your prayers are also incorporated into Apple Health as meditation time. And finally, one more feature I’d like to see is there are people in my life that I pray special prayers for every year on their birthday. But the furthest I can drill down is to a monthly option in this app. I’d like an annual one as well that could also be used to cover prayers for other special events. Overall, this is a great app that I’d love to support and donate to for future development and upgrades.
