LOVE the app...but just one flaw
Would love to be able to have music in the background while the move callouts are happening. I focus on boxing, so I’m OK with the limited moves. They are basic level. I just really wish I could play music! Overall great app.

It’s annoying that it only cals out the numbers instead of saying the name of the move. The app just calls out 1! 7! 1! And you have to remember what each number is. Like why doesn’t the app just call out the punch to do?

Custom Mode
It will be great if you can custom the concepts or moves. I practice HEMA, and some techniques are named with numbers.
Fav box app and YouTube trainer.
Love the free app, even the paid app provides lifetime access rather than subscription models of other app. This and pumatrac are my fav apps for boxing. Do check the pro version too !

J’ai la version gratuite et entre 2 cours de boxe ou quand je suis ne suis pas chez moi il suffit de gants, l’appli avec les écouteurs et vous avez des séances de shadow sans savoir ce que va être la prochaine combinaison, on peut varier l’intensité et le style de boxe.

Virtual Sparring Partner.
This app is okay, but virtual sparring partner is amazing. I bought the premium version, and have used it for a long time. Why is it no longer supported?!?!? I paid for it and now it’s unusable. Great app, terrible support.
Great app but needs improvements
Would be the perfect app if the call outs work at the same time with music, and if the app will continue to work even the phone screen turns dark
Has almost no functionality
Most modes do nothing but call out numbers, it doesn’t even show you the moves or technique, it doesn’t even call out the moves. All you get is 1...33...12... It’s rather disappointing and the app is more like a short interval timer.

This app is awesome. Does everything you need for training on the heavy bag.
The only thing that throws me off is a when the work out is over the app just goes silent. It would be nice to have the voice say something at the end. (Ex. “Your done” or “That's it great job”) just so the end isn’t so abrupt. But overall I highly recommend this App.

Awesome app if you know what you’re doing.
I Just finished my first session using this app and I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve been boxing for about 15 years and this is the app I’ve been looking for. It has Fully customizable call speeds and combination lengths. The virtual pad worker is awesome as well. I will 100% be buying the full version.
Ignore all the people complaining about the app closing when the phone locks, that is user error, not the app’s fault. Just set your phone to never lock during your workout and go to town. I just did 15 hard rounds of varying intensity and I loved every second of it, truly. The “Golden Gloves” setting on “hurricane” intensity is a great place to start for those with decent boxing experience.
I will agree that music player support would put this app over the top, and also a special buzzer to indicate the end of a total workout would be nice. I put my phone in my pocket and use in-ear monitors when I work the bag, and it’s easy to forget what round you’re on so I wind up standing around like a dummy.
Overall though, if you want to just have a great bag or shadow boxing session but don’t want to come up with combos on your own, this app is amazing.

I been using for a while and now the app is not calling out combos so no point

I love this app. it helps me to get a good flow and feeling for boxing combination, in heavy bag and shadowboxing. Recommended app and good youtube channel 👍🏽
Great concept, horrible execution!
In theory the app works great. Choose your level, rounds and rest time while the trainer calls out the moves. Everything but the latter works great.
Unfortunately, the moves are given numbers you will need to memorize (i.e. the coach yells out “1” instead of jab). So, if you don’t mind constantly looking at your phone to figure out what move the number correlates with, this is the app for you. If you want to hear the moves and execute them without looking at your phone, don’t get this app!

I've been using the free version for a while now. I love it. We lost some options recently so I will need to buy the pro version soon.
I found that the phone won't stay open. This messes with the round timer and it was on the call combos for that round.

I love this app. Unfortunately the new update doesn't allow music to be played in background while listening to the combos. Please change that back if possible. Thanks

I've been using it for a while now to break a sweat and work on speed considering buying the full version that gives more instruction.
