Main weather tool

I use this app several times each day. I like the different displays and graphics. The daily briefing feature is also very useful.

Not inexpensive, but this app has proven invaluable on a handful of occasions - both inshore and offshore.

Can’t close their persistent ad

Can’t close their persistent ad to subscribe since it’s not formatted on screen correctly. Can’t see the X to cancel. Programmers need some formatting lessons before releasing code into the wild.

The best weather app

My go to weather app with all the useful features you need like a good weather stations. Tide models and lots of different forecasting models and displays so you can easily get all the info you need.

Poor prediction for Georgia and Malaspina Straits

It is way out and underpredicts wind speeds for NW winds. Beware, we had our asses handed to us twice in less than a year!

AI assistant is awful

I use to like this app but they put an AI assistant icon that covers the controls on the screen making the app unusable. This sucks I just wasted $250 on the damn app.

The Best There Is

I’ve been using three different forecasting apps (the obvious ones) for about 18 months now. In my opinion PredictWind is clearly emerging as the leader in this space. Fantastic data, great interface, loads of information and superb customer support. They are constantly refining the app, not just adding stuff for the sake of it, but improving it all the time. Awesome.

What is the PredictWind forecast?

For more than 10 years, wither on a boat cruising somewhere I have never been before or traveling to wherever…
I always compare locally sourced weather to what is forecast on PredictWind.
As both a lifetime boater and career pilot, I have never made my go/nogo decisions by just looking at “one gauge”.
PredictWind, with its multi-model forecasts, has has given me all the information that I need to allow me to make my own decisions with confidence because I have looked at “all of the gushes”….
