Educational and Helpful
I really love the way that this app can help me learn more about what I like. I can learn a bit about specific wines or whiskeys like New Wave New World Pinot Noir and it will give me recommendations of others I can try. But it also tells me to continue to discover wine. It gives me a guide of new styles and wines I should try. So instead of just going to the store and picking randomly I can find one I will really like.
The fact that it keeps my journal active is nice too to go back and remember beers or whiskeys or wines I drank.
The new partners option is cool too. I can see a restaurant beverage list and get personal recommendations from that list. That’s really helpful

Worse than Vivino
App is clunky and it’s difficult to get through to a tasting. It seems like the only notes you can give a wine is some kind of skewed heart, thumbs up, so-so and thumbs down. Not exactly what I’m looking for when rating a wine.
Netflix of Wines
This app is amazing. I’ve been using it for years to save money on wine and booze. I make it a habit to scan cheap spirits and wines and purchase them when they are at least a 96 or higher in the score.
Updating my initial review.
I was having issues with the first iteration of the app but everything seems to be working fine so they get a 5 star rating whoop whoop!

My go-to wine app
This app does for wine what Netflix does for movies: “If you liked this, you’ll also like …” After submitting a few likes/dislikes on a simple 1-4 scale, the app predicts if you will like a wine you see at a store. Snap a photo of the label and the prediction engine goes to work. You don’t have to know anything about wine; just that you like it or not. They are expanding into liquors now. I’m looking forward to them tackling the world of beer.
