What's New in Premed Prep

1.0.3

September 25, 2026

• Send videos in messages. Clips from your phone now attach and play in the conversation, and are made smaller automatically so they send quickly. • Attachments fixed. Documents and photos — Word, PDF, Excel, images — send reliably again. If a file can't be sent, you're told why instead of being left waiting, and your file stays in the box so you can try again. • Your conversations are private. Only the people in a conversation can read it. • PrepTalk is faster, and unread counts stay accurate however long your history gets. • Built for iPad. Held upright, the app now lays out properly for a tablet instead of stretching one panel across the screen. Every page has been gone over. • Live class schedules redesigned — easier to scan, with a clearer countdown to the next session. • Course files now open properly from your phone. • Signing up now offers the full list of universities.

A must have for premeds

Premed Prep has made staying organized as a premed much easier. Instead of having MCAT prep, school lists, personal statement drafts, application resources, and advice scattered across different Google Docs and websites, I can keep everything together and work on it from my phone.

I especially like having quick MCAT practice questions for studying on the go, along with discussion boards where you can learn from other premeds and resources covering everything from study strategies to writing a strong application. The tools for planning a medical school list and working on personal statements are also genuinely useful, especially when you want to jot something down or make an edit without opening several different documents.

There are a lot of premed resources out there, but having the parts I actually use organized in one well-designed app makes this one stand out. It has become a really convenient part of my premed workflow.

Excellent resource for premed

This has been a really helpful app for me as I'm going through my premed journey. I started out as a free user, but then I upgraded to the pro membership and am really enjoying being able to ask questions in the community to coaches. It's also super helpful for keeping everything organized, including tracking my shadowing clinical hours and planning out my premed timeline!
