This is a great app with lots of fantastic resources and brushes. There are free brushes and the brushes are so diverse, there’s a brush pack for everyone. Download immediately!
Awesome brushsets
I had previously used some of the free brush sets that CozyBrushery had available on their Gumroad site, and ended up buying 2 sets from their Etsy store, so finding out there’s an app was a nice surprise. I love their brush sets and the app is very user-friendly.

I have downloaded a few free brushes and recently bought woke. The brushes are great. I am new to digital art and find these brushes easy to use and work with.

Can’t restore purchases
I loved this app immensely but when procreate updated, it kicked off all the brushes I had bought. I thought I could easily redownload them but when I go to “log in” to my account it won’t send me the “magic link” like it says it will. I’ve been trying since yesterday and nothing.

Couldn’t You Just Send the .brush files??
Bought a bunch of brushes off the website, just to be linked to a pdf and be instructed to download an app to get the brushes I just paid for…I understand distribution control but this is sort of ridiculous. 2 stars because the brushes are nice, but I really resent the website not being upfront about needing to download an app to receive what I paid for.
UPDATE: I open the app, and i am asked for the email they Already Sent My Receipt to when I bought the brushes off the site and are telling me to make an account to download the brushes. Lowering to 1 star; why do you need more of my data? I just paid you money….

Hello, we are asking for the email so you can save all your brushes to your account to never lose them if you change your device. You can also skip that step, it is not mandatory. We are sending all the downloads through the app so everyone always has access to the newest file. We are offering our brushes on other platforms as well and it is impossible to maintain all seperate files for the many brushes on each platform individually. I hope you understand the reasons and want to give the app another chance. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Theft and AI, so theft and theft.
I’m a professional artist, and while this app is a great idea, something I was excited to try out, it’s a shame I’ve spotted far too many blatantly stolen brush sets from other working, reputable artists, even listing one of the bigger sets for free ( notably, Frankentoon Studio’s Nature Master pack. The original artist is even still actively selling it, 15 dollars, but it’s a free sampler here).
Impressively entitled, but a low thing to do to another artist, If you actually are one as you claim to be in your whimsical home kitchen recipe style write-ups.
Doubtful, given most, if not all, of the example “artwork” in the app is AI generated (and don’t lie that it isn’t) being passed off as real examples and personal artwork. More lying and theft.
Maybe I should browse the rest of the offerings here before I delete it to make sure none of my peers or my own brush sets have found there way in and had some slop Sailor Moon plastered on the cover, waxing poetic about the amber summer’s rays sparkling off of their pregnant friend’s smiling visage. A memory of youth and joy. Very cozy. Such whimsy. Totally inspired this obviously not-stolen brush set. Kawaii!
Anyway.
A slap in the face to a community that already works itself to the bone, only to time and time again have our hard work stolen and regurgitated by people who’d rather build up elaborate scams than pick up a pencil and do the work they so want to play-pretend for themselves. I mean sure, I’d rather be seen as an artist than a grifter too.

Delete this app. don’t buy anything. there’s countless real resources out there by real artists happy to help you learn and happy to offer you their tools.
Buy from real artists who will appreciate your patronage for their hard work.

Resells stolen or AI generated brushes/stamps
Unfortunately, this user has stolen multiple brushes from other reputable sources or has used AI to generate images for stamps or for brushes to create. If you look at their storefront, you can see all of the images that they used to showcase their brush sets are completely different and if you look closer enough, you can tell that they are AI generated. Most of these brushes you can find from their original sources for free however this CozyBrushery is taking them and trying to sell them to you. Don’t fall for it.
Update 7/19: In response to Cozy's response, you have stamps that have added toes or weird appendages. These stamps were AI generated. Aside from the stamps or brushes there is landscape images to showcase the stamps that is showing made up kanji or just messy like AI rendered it (I am fluent in Japanese). The English lettering has been corrected.
Other cover thumbnails shows characters with hands or arms backwards or just incorrect in a way that screams AI. You have 20 years experience but make those simple mistakes?

Hi Pokecorgi—Two years ago I discovered some Fiverr commissions weren’t original, so I removed them and rebuilt the sets myself or with vetted artists. Every brush now in CozyBrushery is hand‑made, carries my author tag, and can be verified. No current previews use AI. If you can point to a specific file, email contact@cozybrushery.com for the source or a refund. Repeating unverified claims can cross into defamation, so accuracy matters.

That ^ literally I’ve been hanging around since just the website and am so happy its an app now the free brushsets are wonderful and constantly changing, while I have yet to get myself the subscription it’ll be my next purchase being pretty cheap for access to such well developed content that you can also make requests to what gets added next!
Update* I have ended up grabbing the subscription and loving it only downside was not having too much new content but have deep dived through all the content sadly I'm canceling this month due to my own finances cancelling all subscriptions but will be looking forward to renewing it in the future.

CozyBrushery uses AI amd STEALS designs
this might be deleted by them, if it does I’ll just post it again. anyway, as the title says, it has recently come to my attention (5 minutes ago) that CozyBrushery has committed acts of stealing brush designs and using AI in their work, and hava apparently been doing this for YEARS. I had, in god faith, downloaded this app because of the wealth of brush resources I could use, being an artist, but this is truly unforgivable. save yourself the time, and possibly money, DO NOT buy their subscription OR lifetime fees, they are frauds. ((search Friendly Neighbourhood Artist on youtube for a video describing their acts if you would like to learn more about it, it’s a good source.

THEFT OF EVERYTHING
Almost EVERY brush set is stolen from real artists. This shop has had their Etsy taken down MANY times and they make a new one claiming they were hacked so they decided to make an app. What isn’t stolen, is AI. PLEASE DKNT USE THIS APP!!!!!
